Why does this audio sound less exiting than old bootlegs via 4 vhs copies from early 80s? Too much audience noise and ambience to «join in the live experience» and instruct the listener on where you are supposed to sit by yourself and clap? Is it the dreadful drum sound where the bass drum sounds more like a Metallica record than a classic singer songwriter’s concert? The overcompressed snare drum sounding like some kind of drowning whip? The narrow panning? The piezo-pickup acoustic being unapologetically loud? All the über-digital keyboard sounds? The bass sounding to Hi-fi? Too many fancy delay pedals on the guitarist’s pedal board? I don’t know. Something ain’t right.
