When I was a kid, we lived in Artacho, a barrio of Sison which is the town next to Pozorrubio. My mother and I would go to Pozorrubio every Sunday for market day. Watching your video now, I don’t recognize a single thing or place. Chalk it up to the passage of time and getting old.

Congress should seriously review and reclassify the cityhood status of many cities in the Philippines. For instance, while Ligao may look clean and progressive, it lacks the vibe of a city, tbh. In contrast, many towns in Bulacan, Rizal, and Cavite are far more progressive than some of the current cities.

Agree, ang daming cities sa Pilipinas ang hindi naman mukang city, for example: - Ligao City - Lamitan City - Batac City - Bogo City - Candon City - Tangub City - Gingoog City - Palayan City - majority of cities in Negros Occidental & Negros Oriental Meanwhile, municipalities like Taytay, Cainta, Montalban and San Mateo in Rizal and, Silang and Tanza in Cavite are far more urbanized, yet still in the municipality class.

@@user-z6y7 Maraming bayan ang naging cities around 20 years ago dahil nahabol nila yun mababa pa ang minimum income requirement, parang Php 20M pa lang yata. That time, konti pa lang ang mga cities pero malaki ang IRA na pinaghahatian ng mga cities at yun ang hinahabol nila. Kaya nung dumagsa ang mga nag-apply ng cityhood, nagworry ang mga existing cities dahil liliit ang share nila sa IRA na allocated for cities dahil dadami na ang maghahati-hati.

I think it looks more of a 5th to 6th class city. Same class lang sila ng Gapan City for example pero Gapan is far more progressive.
