Going in September with family and friends. I have a smaller child but can’t find the stroller policy, do you know anything about that? Also are any of the rollercoasters plus size friendly?

I went with my two year old so they handle the rider switch system very well. Just be prepared to go into areas that don’t have ramps. Klugheim near Taron in particular I had to carry him up the stairs. As for plus sized, I do not have any info on that.

Nice vlog! I've been there before too, Phantasialand truly has some of the best rides in the world. One of the best roller coasters with Taron, probably the best mine train with Colorado Adventure, probably the best log flume with Chiapas, and probably the best flat ride with Talocan (normally it has fire effects too), and let's not forget F.L.Y. which is so unique. But i've been there way before F.L.Y. was built, so it's a reason to return!

Really hate being the pessimist but I just don’t understand everyone’s raving reviews. I rode this 3 times, front, back and middle and while yes the reverse launch and spike are cool it still doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as Dragster. That 0-120mph launch was everything. And the “rollback” is a total joke. Dragster was 9/10. TT2 is 6/10. Very disappointing.
@Parkproductions1991
@Parkproductions1991 Ай бұрын
It happens sometimes. Myself I have a few attractions people rave about that I find just average. Raptor is my second least favorite B&M Invert (still love my rides on it) and Spider man at IOA is just an average dark ride to me. I don’t get the hype on either one, but there is just something about them that others love that doesn’t click for me.
@randomdefender1532
@randomdefender1532 Ай бұрын
I'm in the same boat man! I think swing launches are overrated, in fact I find coasters with no launch at all more exciting. All they did was make Kingda Ka and Storm Runner better. I predict TT2 will be popular in its opening year but that will die down very quickly after that. Much like Project/Intimidator 305 and Skyrush. The only thing actually look forward to is for Taylor Bybee (Coaster Studios) to make a parody so they can make jokes about our gripes (weak launch) and wanting the OG back. But at least we get more content from Taylor! Guess CP will be home to the 2 most overrated coasters, the other being Millennium Force.

That rollback looks so scary! Is it really not that bad? I loved dragster but honestly I hate going backward on rides and I imagine the g forces going backward are so awful it scares me into not wanting to ride…. Or am I just plain wrong?
@Parkproductions1991
@Parkproductions1991 Ай бұрын
@@chapinsigourney922 the rollback itself is very gentle. Easily the calmest part of the ride. The reverse launch is crazy but there is no strong g forces. The pull up into the spike is a little intense, but I’ve for sure experienced far stronger g forces. The intensity of Top Thrill 2 mainly comes from the insane speed and heights.

I saw the 2017 one in totality in Hopkinsville Kentucky, and this one closer to home in Hamilton, OH and those two instances are the coolest things I've ever seen. Nothing else is even close. The moment the diamond ring faded into totality is just the most beautiful thing, and I don't think any picture will ever really capture it. The sharpness of the brightness differences is more than any screen can imitate. Most regular cameras have trouble autofocusing on totality. The white ring tends to over expose and change in size. It's annoying, but I've just come to accept that there's a mile of difference between a picture and seeing the real thing. The emotional effect was the same both times. The words awe and awesome seem really overused once you see something that really does fit the intended meaning. - If it's any consolation for 2017, I spent 11 hours in a traffic jam after that one, which was hands down one of the worst experiences in my life, and I know a lot of other people had it just as bad. This time I could've gone to places in Indiana to see maximum totality, but they were small towns, and I figured they'd have the same traffic issues. So I settled for about two minutes in Hamilton, and this time it wasn't bad at all.
