Great video - brought back memories of when we did it a few years ago (pre-youtube days!) - hope to do it again one day. I came back along the old railway track which you can access at the ruins of the old lodge, certainly rougher and slower but no river crossings so it is an option to think about if the water level is high. ATB Tom

Thanks for watching Tom. I did think about going along that old railway track ,but with the issue I had with my derailleur thought it best give it a miss . Martin

Hi big chap . I would have rode to the top but I couldn't get the last couple of gears. It was only a 90 second walk to the Trig Tbh . I've put a new chain and derailleur on . Don't think it has been right since my crash , so it's replaced . Thanks for watching

This is always been on my to do list for quite some time actually Martin. That looks like a great track to ride to the summit. GoPro and bike problems what the hell! Spectacular views all round pal. Would that last part to the summit be rideable on the bike?

@@Scottishebikeadventures Cool that would've been my next guess , it's tough to see clearly, but it's the way it was gliding that made me think it could've been a Goldy. Thanks for the reply 👍

Lots of folks spending lots of cash on dodo mats, while you can soundproof AND insulate with other stuff, two in one, cheaper, less work. Too many folks who just copy from others without knowing why.

Bloody hell Martin, I lost my mobile phone whilst doing Sgor Gaoith Munro so I know that awful feeling. The differences is I permanently lost mine. This Munro is definitely on my list to do. I wouldn't say this was a fail pal. It turned out to be a nice recce. That Boulderfield you had to ride before you crossed the river look like hard work. I really enjoyed the drone footage which showed the single track ahead. This has definitely whetted my appetite for doing this in future mate.Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠

See when I discovered I'd dropped it , I thought about you losing yours and my head was bursting at the thought of it. Just show how reliant we have become to them. I was going to go back up once I'd found it but it was roasting and couldn't be arsed going back up that steep section lol. I'm off for a week in October so weather permitting I might go back.

What a cracking adventure Martin. Awesome footage of the 'Old Man' in the low clouds. I never knew you could get the ferry from Mallaig to Skye. I really enjoyed doing some of the Glen Sligachan trail and intend to do the whole glen, hopefully this year. Great drone footage. Harris is such a beautiful Island and Luskentyre is absolutely stunning. We really do live in a spectacular country. The footage you captured was top notch. At least you had some decent weather on Harris for Luskentyre despite the forecast pal. Love the footage from the car of Glen Coe. Brilliant video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠

Cheers Stoozer , we do live in a stunning country. Yeah the Mallaig ferry goes to Armadale. It only takes 25 mins or so and it's only £18. Saves a bit of time rather than up Glen Sheil and it's nice scenery too. Tho i do like coming down Glen Sheil. I'm off work in 2 weeks so I'll be heading out for another misadventure 😁
