The great ape fights in both games were always kind of trivial. They were structured in such a way, in my opinion, to teach players how to overcome super armor so they were not caught off guard later in a more difficult like like the Broly one.

To your argument regarding loading screens: This is partly from my own limited experience, but also partly from having heard others arguments on this point before. While you are correct that there exists discourse regarding loading screens in Starfield, I don't agree that it is an argument about the length of them, or the inclusion of them. Take for an example youtuber NakeJakey's video "Bethesda's game design was outdated a decade ago". In this video, he specifically discusses his issues with the loading screens based on the fact that he often experienced segments of gameplay that saw him go through 8-12 loading screens to resolve quests. If I remember the specifics of the video correctly, he uses the example of the resort planet quest, where he gets 3-4 loading screens getting to the dialogue necessary to advance the quest, gets told to go talk to someone else 4 loading screens away, then is told to go back which adds another 4 loading screens. His argument then isn't that loading screens are long, or that they exist at all, but rather that the way Bethesda designs their area-boxes and the quests around those area-boxes, leads to a lot of frustrating gameplay where you are just constantly exposed to numerous loading screens. In my view, that is a very valid argument and a crucial bit of constructive feedback that Bethesda should consider in future titles.

I'm gonna get burned for saying it but Starfield is my favorite BGS game, there's definitely personal reasons like how I have been wanting a BGS formula in a space game for a long long time. My biggest issue really is that there is just too much, the game is so bloated with a lot of what feels like shallow features. It was said a lot at release that people would have preferred way fewer planets that had a more handcrafted design to them, and I definitely agree with it. And in terms of simulating being a planet colonizer, even then there is just too much. I hope with future DLC and the mods we will get, this game is heavily expanded on beyond it's constant surface value content. Not necessarily more planets but more fleshed out features, and intuitive quests. I like how in Skyrim theres quests like getting kidnapped by druggie vampires and having to find your way out of a dark trap filled cave of vamps, I loved how that kinda stuff just HAPPENED as you explored. That's something Starfield doesn't do much, if at all. Now I'm just blabbing. Really good video!! I'm glad someone isn't afraid to have a brain on the topic.

Good points. Hm, for that "too much exposition/dialogue" thing, I reallly wish Bethesda had gone away with "static" scenes and instead crafted it more like Mass Effect where they build the set. We got to see Shepard talk with her crew and people, there were different angles and you could glean body language, etc. The dialogue was just delivered more realistically. With starfield, some of the dialogue is voice acted really well, but the delivery is what annoys me, mostly since now we live in a world with CP2077 that just blew stuff like this out of the water. I like Starfield, I just want it to be better.

Starfield is super fun, but only for a few very specific reasons. The game has tons of issues, but i have a lot of fun with it. Ship customization itself is like 70% of my time with the game.

This is so true. It doesn't only apply to sex either. You'll notice there's also a similar thing going on with race and ethnicity. Variety and representation are good things and oftentimes just make sense for the setting: of course Starfleet from Star Trek would have a bunch of diversity. But we're getting to the point where it's having a similar effect to androgynous characters: everything is starting to turn into a grey sludge. Viking show? There's the black guy, the Asian guy, and I guess some Nordic looking people. Game set in feudal Japan? There's the black guy... cultures start losing their identity and everything starts feeling like modern day United States. The ethnic makeup of different areas is part of culture in real life and can make a piece of fiction seem so much more authentic and interesting.
