After Scribblenauts (a little DURING, tbh), I made a new channel about Pokémon GO that went viral during the COVID lockdowns and then in 2022 I casted Pokemon UNITE on the official Pokemon KZbin channels’ broadcast, which was a big honor… there were a few hits after all of that but it is just a crazy amount of work, being older now with a kid and a job and all that, I had to slow down and take KZbin more casually. There’s a Podcast about every year on the channel, so far we’re up to 2015, but if you don’t mind longform podcast content I would point you to that! It talks about a lot of what was going on behind the scenes during those Scribblenauts days

I heard/read a few people saying that this being a mobile game kills it for them. I definitely don’t want to argue but I DO want to try and understand people’s thinking on that: this will likely be a free game, Mobile, with micro transactions for skins or something. Like in my videos it can be played with any controller that connects to a mobile device (I used PS5), and I mirrored it to my PC screen with a free program. I suppose I’m wondering what is stopping people from doing as I did? Aside from the cost of the controller and the iPad I played on, it is a completely free solution to basically having a console experience with a mobile game. I want to try to learn what people specifically want from the game that it doesn’t have already if it wasn’t Mobile.

This was on an iPad Mini, but my son played on an iPad Pro. Seems most usable devices work well for it - the beta was so smooth overall

True! They honestly pull from random various Sonic universe games, even with the Business Tycoon Rouge skin lol. Enthusiasts will know ALL the references and while Sonic is my favorite video game character of all time, I readily know because I haven’t played every single last game or memorized every last thing about them all, I won’t nail all the references. If you’re referring to the unlockables within the Premium Pass, I probably would say it’s less of a matter of rarity or not, and more-so a matter of: “Do you either want to (presumably) pay for them with money to get them immediately or do the challenges to get red star rings for unlocking the premium pass?” I myself would tend toward the latter - I don’t shy away from doing more work, longer, to avoid spending money especially on cosmetics. I enjoy being completely free to play. I suppose, however, to your point that may make some of the premium pass unlockables more rare simply because there will be people who don’t pay or do enough challenges to get the red star rings to unlock them… meaning they’d miss out on the premium but can get the free pass items without doing much work at all

hopefully they re-do the event when the game actualy comes out

@@Minty_WariorYes, Minty, if I had to personally guess, they'll probably have that Fearless Year of Shadow Premium Pass from the Beta as the very first one when the full game launches in the Winter... to my knowledge, none of us Beta participants will be keeping our unlocks and progress, so we're going to all want that back too! i.e., this means a much better chance that it would return

By the end of the entire beta period I want to have played with every skin (character)… thing is they’re all just skins because of the obvious: no one character can have any advantages over the other in a Fall Guys-like game! True, it's sad that Silver can't throw stuff at anyone with his TK 😂 but at least they gave him a flying animation and he's not slow like in 06.

haha, every character *does* have a super-powered attack when you get the power up, usually on the final stage of a run. And each one plays a different animation for it! The game is currently just in Beta for U.S. players (I think), and only during the specified play times. The application period is over now, but maybe they will run another test that everyone can apply for later? I’m not sure though, just speculating

I’m sorry it was too fast for you. Ultimately, I don’t think these videos are intended for people to follow along, because then it would probably end up taking sheer hours or at least one hour, and at that point I would get many comments talking about how the video is too long.
