While the way the game did things was sketchy, the core of Shadow learning that he is meant to be a hero and choosing to embrace it and finally move on is just nice to see. He had every reason to despise Earth but he chose to be good not just because Maria and Gerald wanted it but because he wanted to be better.

The part where Shadow saves Rouge is wholesome. And she was the first to ask about him after the final battle. Besties....or ship. Whatever you feel is right.

Now that I saw Sonic 3 everything make sense… Jeff Fowler was behind in the game and he decided to make the movies… I’m happy that he did it

Came back here to watch this after seeing Sonic movie 3! They did a good job remixing the story but still being true to each character and their own stories. Also so cool that they used this ending cutscene music in the movie too!! Gave me goosebumps and felt very nostalgic

I like how in this game the only way to defeat Black Doom is by shooting it with a Death Star like laser, and all the chaos emeralds. But then in Shadow Generations they talk about how they have to defeat Black Doom even more then last time, and all Shadow does is punch the eyeball with a fake emerald and some wings.

i love sonic's japanese voice :)) i foumd out how much i loved it when i played sonic adventure 2 in japanese with translation mods after finishing it in english because apparently the English script was mistranslated, and i havent turned it back since because i love sonic's japanese voice so much. i also prefer the japanese voices for the characters in the sonic series because of the continuity. it still feels like the same character no matter what sonic game i watch or play because its the same actor
