This came into my algorithm and I'm glad it did. I looked up that welcome to sex book and it is excellent. I wish I had this when I was young. It would have saved me a lot of pain. I will recommend it to the young people I know.

Something tells me these books are not really in a children's library in any real school anywhere. I have known a lot of teachers and school administrators, and the content described would not be in any primary school. This feels like propaganda. If these books really were in a school, your problem should not be with the book, but with the school. People should be getting fired. Now, if your definition of "Children" is anyone over 18 years old, then of course you are wasting your time entirely.

And any adult asking these questions of a year 9 student will be a stranger to them as it’s their first year of high school. Most kids won’t have the courage to refuse, especially when isolated in a room with adults. All one needs to do is imagine themselves being asked those questions by a stranger. As an adult I would refuse! Why should children be expected to? It makes me feel sick.

There is a substatial amount of bias and misinfromation in this discussion but also some seriously good points. The points around gender health support is highly innacurate and only veiwed from a Cisgendered point of veiw. The issues with this is there is a genuine lack of understanding as what is its like to grow up trans and I knew since i was 4yrs old. Support for people like me at that stage would have greatly benefitted me in my life and helped keep me self. I do however have serious issue with parents not being part of this discussion UNLESS there is a high chance of issues from bigoted parents causing issues at home. This discussion is CAREFULLY structured as to hide the right support. These people need to be stopped.

I appreciate your view and disagree wholeheartedly with your comment. Yes, provisions should be in place for youth from an very early age to try and rehabilitate behaviours and thought processes around genders etc, as I totally understand that the first 20 years of life is a massive learning curve and this includes the development of our sexual makeup. Allowing disorders against natural science to be propagated, purported and flourish in schools is only going to take those who are maybe inquisitive and plant seeds that make them manifest further into this disorder. No one needs to be judged for these thoughts, but they should absolutely be nipped in the bud when at all possible, rather than celebrated or accepted freely. Everyone has a place and should be treated with respect, but right isn’t wrong, and wrong isn’t right! Perhaps you need to watch this again, and remove a set of goggles that are clouding reality?

There’s no bias in here. You’re living in a fantasy land if you suggest this. These people are warning parents of the dangers, and clearly you haven’t dug deep enough to see! I have seen ALL the legislation on the LKBK website and I am more than alarmed at what’s going on, so you are either woke, or someone who is very interested in allowing perverse rhetoric into the lives and education of our children.

I’m a GP and hate the didactic brainwashing in the guise of educational lectures for gender identity issues here in NZ. I donuse HEADS assessment in a targeted manner for high risk kids (as you have mentioned) without most of the additional letters in HEEADDSSSSS. And ofcourse, all with parents proper consent- not covertly. This Woke teaching must end so that we can actually end up helping kids
