This is a weakling’s river float trip with half ass guides. If you’re really up for an adventurous, possibly dangerous but unforgettable white water rafting experience, just head down the road to the mighty Ocoee. Class 4 & 5 rapids, professional guides & a true test of endurance, strength, teamwork & absolute attentiveness. This just looks like floating in a flood zone between two suburban neighborhoods. LAME!!

For every newcomer , I challenge you to support 10 local children or even adults that have not been able to experience their own backyard like you do!! Before all you, we had fred run and range... now our children aren't allowed to go even swimming in our local creeks and rivers because of the kayakers taking presidence. Our kids are not experiencing their backyard heritage because of the tourist override overrun and have presidence....my kids live here and should be able to jump in the river, swing off a rope swing and take a swin tube/canoe/ trip down the river without 12250 other foreigners decided they can't. When we actually LIVE two minutes away. I'm sick of outsiders getting to control my neighborhood! Shame on whomever is so monetarily selfish that you have attributed in this situation

Im going in July this year (2024) and its gonna be my first time parasailing. Actually its gonna be my first time to ever go to an actual ocean beach. Yep. I'm 36 years old and have never seen the beach... I know 😔. But! I AM GOING to get to SOON and we are booked with the same company featured in your video, Gilligan's Watersports. I'm glad to hear they are a good company and it was a good time. Why did they bring you down and let your feet touch the water then take you back up? Was that a special request or do they usually do that? It looked pretty cool and i wanna do it too (and so will my 9 year old son😂) is why i was wondering. Anyway thanks for the upload, brother! It was exactly what i was looking for✌️

I am glad you enjoyed the video! I hope you enjoy parasailing this month as well! They will ask if you want to “dip” which when our feet touched the water but you can let them know if you don’t want to “dip”. It’s a personal preference.

I hope it gets warmer! Right now, it is tough so it's going to be hard to hook into a few. I fish with swimbaits as well, in the summer i use more topwater baits but swimbaits are a good year-long bait depending on how you retrieve it (slow retrieve in winter, fast in the summer)

I went in July, water temps were in the low-mid 70s. While the outside temps were in the high 70s low 80s at most.

Great video...I knew Chase dumped you guys on purpose...he entered that rapid sideways. With your video being just under 1:04:00, how much battery life did you have when you stopped recording? We are rafting the Ocoee (full river) on Saturday morning and I'd like to video it with my GoPro Hero 8. I have two batteries and figure I can switch out when we stop for lunch, but I'm thinking I'll still have to start/stop the recording multiple times during each section of the river in order to get all of the more exciting parts.

Thanks! Yes, that is correct. I record with a Hero 10 with an Enduro battery. That battery can last 71 minutes recording 4k/60 but in reality, with super view mode activated its lasted closer to 45 minutes. I did change the battery for another one when we were in a slow-moving area, I just asked our guide to see if I could change it really quick. I had the battery in a Ziploc bag in my zipper pocket and nothing happened to it. I changed the battery, turned it back on and when the trip ended I had about 75% left on the newly changed battery. I did have two enduro battery which last a bit longer. Since you have the Hero 8 with the regular batteries, I would bring two extra batteries if you have them just in case.
