I just finished a mosaic tray that I am going to use for my coffee bar. I would like to put resin on top of it to level out the tops of the tiles. My coffee maker and some containers will sit on the tray. I have a couple of questions. First, will the resin scratch over time and if so, will there be anything I can do to fix that? Also, am I correct the the resin dries to a hard finish, similar to glass?
@LizsCraftsАй бұрын
The resin could scratch, but it is my understanding that you can sand it down and polish it. I have never done that, but you should be able to Google it. Yes, it dries hard and is sorta like glass.

@@LizsCrafts thanks, I did it...made kind of a mess with the first pour, so I let it set, sanded it down and put another layer on. I think it's going to be ok...not perfect but for my use, it was a good first try.

Your risers came out so nice, they're really well done and so pretty✨ and inspiring. I might try making the star and maybe in patriotic colors for the 4th of July and use it on back patio table with a craft candle holder and a mini American flag🇺🇸 🫶🏼

Hello Liz, new to your channel. I love the long rectangular earrings you made. Also love the pendant with the ferns in Silver, I am more a silver gal here. I'm new to the uv resin and have been using Michael's Blue Moon uv resin. Beautiful work and looking forward to checking out your other videos and creations.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that second cross, but can't decide if I want to make mine with or without the rope! Decisions, decisions...😂😂😂 I also don't have the brown blocks, but I think staining half of them with a mahogany stain would be beautiful!

Staining them would look good. You could also paint them brown.

It has been so long since I made it, I don't remember. I do know that you can always add more cord by gluing it to the back.
