Hi! The first bit that you are playing, it shows it is - 5,3,4,2 - 3,4,2 - 2,3,4, pull off. etc. But when you play it is it 5,3,4,2 - ,3,4,2 - ,3,4,2, pull off. Which one is the right one?

The 2nd is the correct pattern, and that's also what is written in the tabs. The (2) note is not to be played - it means that the note keeps ringing into the new bar

what guitars would you suggest to a complete beginner someone looking to play medicine music? im looking at a used cordoba C9. i noticed there are so many options out there though, especially around the neck sizes. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Hey there, For complete beginners the most important thing is that the guitar is comfortable and has good intonation. Cordoba definitely have great guitars. I also recommend Takamine & Camps. Look for a thin neck - that's easier to play. Cutaway is an advantage as well.
