From what a friend of my family has mentioned to me. The owner - Paul diatlovich, he regrets waving off ganassi and foyt. All they needed was a better setup. They had a good balance. Just needed those 2 owners to have time to look at it early in the morning and instead of being 214 to 215 to being in there with Moreno at 220. Stefan gregoire had the car as fast as 223. But his crash caused set backs, Moreno getting 3 laps above 220 from a destroyed car proved they just needed an extra day to get that 223 speed they had. Roth mentioned being 221 .
