For an 08 I would say low 100,000 but it’s the motor work that counts Some ppl do the rods and vanos lines at 80,000

@@DuaneMoore right on thanks a lot. I was looking into the maxton side skirts which are a little more pricey. My 545i has came a long way in the last year. Waiting on new trunk spoiler which is getting done in carbon and have “545i” badge done in carbon which is one of a kind. Now if i add side skirts it will be the finishing touch. Going on 9 years of ownership in a few months

0:49 get off pomerado, go east bound and take an immediate left into highland valley road. that's one of the best lowkey driving roads in san diego. super twisty and technical. better to go early morning or night of course.

It could be the cold start. Mine does this during cold start, and goes away when it’s up to temp.

Some of those cars do that, if I had to guess it needs to be driven ould be the start of a vanos solenoid going bad , they all checked out with ista but the one was a little slow , my red car did the same as most do
