Have you tried trihydroxystearin to suspend the mica? I’m playing with it now. I’d love to chat about it if you’d like. I’ll share what I’ve learned. I think yours is beautiful!

I love how beautiful these came out. I just started making bist butters. I've been making candles for 2.5 years, and I create abstract art. I don't know if you're doing this already, but I would strongly suggest wearing a ventilated mask and goggles when dealing with mica because the mica particles are so small and lightweight that they float in the air. They can get into your lungs and cause issues, so be careful & protect yourself.

Hello 👋. When the butter is applied to the skin does it remain heavy oiled and gets on everything you touch 😅?
@JessieSimilien4 ай бұрын
It all depends on how much you apply. It melts into the skin and a lil goes A LONG WAY it keeps me moisturized throughout the day without having to reapply

Does this whipped butter harden or firm up a lil overnight or a couple days please? 😊
@JessieSimilien4 ай бұрын
It firms up about an hour/overnight. But it doesn’t go back to the Shea butter consistency but more so a set frosting on a cupcake if that makes sense

How would I make a half batch of this when it comes to measuring? I see you used shea butter cocoa butter sweet almond oil grape seed oil and coconut oil. What would you recommend those measurements be for half a batch?
@JessieSimilien8 ай бұрын
So the measurements on this is for a full batch so cut those in half. For example, 24oz of Shea butter would be 12oz etcc

I thought I was supposed to add arrow root during the whipping portion of crafting the body butter. After it’s been cooled?
@JessieSimilien8 ай бұрын
I find it preference. I used to add it during the melting process once the oil stars to cool down a bit but I now add it during the whipping process 🤍

@@JessieSimilien if it works both ways I may try it out too thanks for the tip also your body butter always looks so nicely whipped like actual whipped cream. I can’t get mine like that I’m going to watch your other videos as well. Thanks so much for sharing with us!💕
@JessieSimilien8 ай бұрын
@@briissoawesome the key to having a whipped cream consistency is when you put your body butter in the freezer only let the top part solidify to the point where you touch it, it makes a slight dent. Then you whip it in intervals. 5min on low/stir speed, 5min on medium speed and add fragrance, vitamin e, optiphen, arrowroot powder, and lastly mix on high speed for 10min
