Noah Gray is waiver wire fodder. He's not the eventual replacement for Kelce and I'm tired of chasing his replacement. Wiley? The Kelce replacement probably isn't even on the team yet. How in the hell is Gray ranked above Sinnott?
@all22_ray357 ай бұрын
I don't think Gray has a big role in his future but I could see Wiley being the next man up in KC. TEs still do typically take a while to come along and I'd be surprised if Kelce plays past the 2025 season. His contract expires after that and he'll be nearly 37 years old. The timing lines up nicely.

not sure ray was picking up what chris was putting down during the mock draft. but chris does have that dunning-kruger confidence. both reasonable plans here. chris' was more thoughtful than ray's, yet still somehow worse. the notion that mac jones might be the qb of the patriots next year verges on the absurd. i'm sure that robert kraft will be just fine to punt on the most important position in sports and sell tickets on the promise of next year's top 5 draft pick. i mean, mac jones has only been benched 4 times this year due to horrific play. he is not even the backup QB at the moment. like, what are you talking about? mac jones is more likely to end up in a psych ward than starting for the patriots next year. but what do i know? i think you guys are smart. in my opinion, there need to be like 500 more analytically-oriented football institutions, so keep it up.

Where are you getting 60% from?
@davidsavage2158 Жыл бұрын
@@drinkmycola3083 PFF accuracy under pressure @ the end of October per 24/7 sports "Williams' Pro Football Focus passing grade under pressure is currently 28.3 for 2023. It was 85.5 last year. All four of Williams' interceptions and all 13 of his turnover-worthy plays have come under pressure this season. In total, Williams has completed 24-of-52 passes (46 percent) when under duress for 363 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions." I was being generous because he had 3 games since and he got smoked in all so its actually probably LOWER than 60%

Check the stats! The second half of the season the defense has been really good. Albeit they haven’t been tested by any elite QBs. But still, they aren’t bottomed 5. They still should draft defense(edge or interior) somewhere in the first 3 rounds, but it’s not some dumpster fire.
@JeremyAndrade1588 Жыл бұрын
Wtf is this dude talking about PFF has maye as one of the top best deep ball passers in all of college. Maye was even better last year with 45 big time throws that was 10 more then anyone else. Coming into 2023 he was listed as the best deep ball passing qb and was over 50% of throws of 20 or more yards.

lol Darnell wright at guard. Dude is a stud right tackle. Braxton is the one that could be moved into guard.
@all22_ray35 Жыл бұрын
You want to move the better pass protecting OT - by a significant margin - who's also taller, longer, leaner, and lighter inside to guard.... Instead of the power player with near identical length and similar profile to the other young OL the franchise successfully kicked inside a year ago? Who oh by the way also has experience playing guard in college? Not even saying Wright isn't good at tackle, but there's only one tackle on the Bears currently grading out as a top 10 pass protector in the NFL and it's not him. And it's also not even close.
@Big.steppa.reese0 Жыл бұрын
@@all22_ray35Neither of them should be moved inside. Chris just has a draft day grudge against Darnell. It’s whatever. Darnell has shown that he’s a building block going forward and has the upside of being an all-pro tackle in the future. When you already have an all-pro talent at guard(Teven Jenkins) and an above average starter(Nate Davis) there’s literally no reason to kick Darnell inside. Draft Nabers, Latu/Turner, or trade down with that second pick
@all22_ray35 Жыл бұрын
@@Big.steppa.reese0 I think Wright is perfectly fine (perhaps better) at tackle if he stays there. But I also think he has Tyler Smith-level upside inside, and could maybe give CHI the best OG duo in the league with him and Jenkins. I actually see a lot of parallels between the two players. And in the upcoming draft (at least so far) it looks like Harrison and Fashanu are in their own tier of the non-QBs in the class. I could see a trade down with that second 1st rounder if they're fine with their OL as is (I'd even call it the more likely scenario). But me personally, I'd go the Fashanu route - which IMO gives me 3 legit All-Pro potential talents on my OL (Teven, Wright, Olu), plus a very good Braxton Jones. It's all fun discussion when you have these kinds of options.

If you are calling 5 screens in a row how do you expect to grow. You would be foolish to do that 🤦🏽♂️ fire the coaches trade out of 1 to 3 get a haul for the 1 and go get MHJ and with your 4 go get best LT or Edge. It’s play calling killing Justin NOT his talent and I’m not sure you guys are actually watching Bears games 🤦🏽♂️
@all-22 Жыл бұрын
The biggest issue with Fields coming into the league was processing time and holding onto the ball too long. He currently has THE longest time to throw in the entire league. If he was throwing nothing but screens as you say, that wouldn't be the case. Not only that, but on pass attempts of longer than 2.5 seconds, Fields is 31st in ADOT, below guys like Zach Wilson and Jimmy G. So it's not as if he's holding the ball so long to push it downfield. He just holds it too long because his processing has not improved. The screens are a way to get a great YAC guy like Moore in a rhythm because Fields can't process nearly well enough in the standard offense to get things rolling.
@joesutherland9354 Жыл бұрын
Jalen Hurts and Mahomes aren’t prototypical QB’s either 6’1 and 6’2 Caleb is 6’1 so if he’s small then so are they. Murray and Bryce Young are small. Caleb yea might be 215 now but he can easily add 10 pounds in 2 years if needed. The reason people say best prospect since Luck is due to talent level and how easy he dominated at the college level and in my opinion he was held back by Riley and that offense to show his actual true talent level.
@All22_Chris Жыл бұрын
I agree with your comparison to Mahomes and Hurts. I think a key to their success was landing spot. The talent around Hurts on the Eagles and the pairing of Mahomes and Andy Reid. It will be almost impossible for either of those situations to happen for Williams.
@joesutherland9354 Жыл бұрын
@@All22_Chris Of course that factors into it but nobody expected the Texans to be very good this year or for CJ to be this good. Both HC & OC are 1st year guys and both defensive minded and the talent level on the Texans isn’t special at all on the offensive side. I think it more comes down to having the Owner GM & HC/OC having a system before hand and picking the right QB that fits. A lot of the time there is a lot of in fighting between Owner GM & HC/OC perfect example is the Panthers.
@all22_ray35 Жыл бұрын
@@joesutherland9354 All good points. System and plan are most important. That starts from ownership down like you say. And to your previous point, I actually don't even think Caleb needs to gain 10 or so pounds either. Sturdiness or durability hasn't necessarily been an issue. So don't change what's working outside of the typical "protect yourself because these NFL defenders are grown men" adjustments - something Anthony Richardson needs to really take to heart.
@vitigaymer1053 Жыл бұрын
Caleb is shorter than 6 ft 1. Many scouts have remarked that he likely is barely 6 foot or just under. 6 ft 2 has always been the cutoff height for QB's when it comes to scouting evaluations. Mahomes, Rodgers, Dak.
