He is nice when he said how much this case traumetasime him back in the 90s and hopping his film will provoc a catharsis for belgium people but there only one thing... He didin't contact victime's familly, he made this movie behind theire back, he said this in a belgium interview at the mostra of venise : Q : Have you met the families of the victims? Fabrice du welz : No, because it's a fiction film. We of course asked ourselves the question, but this is not my role. We make cinema. And in any case we have ethics personal. Making a film like this comes with great responsibility on my part and that of the production. We were very respectful but we did not want to constrain ourselves to political correctness. It's a popular film but in the full sense of the word. Like some Italians did in the years 1950. I don't think I'm Pietro Germi or Rossellini but I wanted to do a film that has resonance. Because it concerns us, us, and if it concerns us concerns us, it can concern the whole world. I dont see why it's not his role... We talked about a case where parents where deeply meprised by belgium justice and where the memory of there girls where drag in the mud during thos 3 dacadce by the justice, by respect for the family he should Ask theme there blessing and not doing this movie on there back and espaclly not reduce them to political correctness, yes he change the names of the protagonistes yes he change places yes he made a young police man as the lead but it's still a adaptation of the case a case witch he try to recover trying to make a populaire film...

I have only seen two of his films "Red Angel" and "Blind Beast" and I really liked them. Can you list his best films? I wonder which films of his are worth paying attention to.

"Irezumi," "The Blue Sky Maiden" and "Love for an Idiot" are also quite worth a look!

@@TFVNetwork “Irezumi” I recently watched in the fall, I liked it, but “love for an idiot” was disappointing, it seemed to me that this film was a pale copy of “Kyojin to gangu”, they are completely different films, but they have something in common :) By the way, I didn’t like “Tsuma futari” either. Of Masumura's films I've seen recently, I liked "Manji" the most. I want to watch: «The blu sky maiden», «Kuchizuke», «Hanaoka Seishû no tsuma», «Ongaku», «Tsuma wa kokuhaku suru», «Kôshoku ichidai otoko», «Kuro no tesuto kâ» «Sonezaki Shinju», «Daichi no komoriuta»
