Facts facts facts 👏 If I like a man, I'm putting in lots of effort. But recently I got my heart broken by a guy who I've been emotionally and mentally investing a lot into for 6 months. He had BPD and had alot of problems (what with adulthood, getting taken off his dad's insurance, paying rent, job, etc) He wasn't ever my boyfriend, just a friend. I was there for him to be a shoulder to cry on, but he almost never called or texted to check up on me. Not even a "hey what's up" text once every couple days. I was 90% of the time initiating conversation. But he doesn't want a relationship because he's mentally not ready for a relationship, especially a long distance one. He's not used to a girl liking and caring for me. It came to me as a shock because he thought I had a good personality and was good looking. I was surprised he didn't want to be my boyfriend because I really wanted to be his girlfriend. Sorry for the long rant but in short, he turned down the one girl who cared about him and wanted only to be with him.
