I was there as a sophomore when the Mac's came in. This is quite a time capsule, I recognize many of the folks in the video.

Same here! I had a HS friend who went to Penn, who had a similar offer to buy a Mac at a discounted price. He let me use his right to buy, and I got mine.

Restored one of these original Drexel Macintosh computers and made a video of it on my channel! Awesome to see this full documentary is now available. I knew of it during filming but was unable to find a copy.

Thanks for this! As someone who's been a proponent of ranked-choice and proportional representation for many years, it's very heartening to hear Prof. Santucci report that students are coming to him already having heard of ranked-choice. There may be hope for us yet!

Yes, I've discussed it with him on Twitter and in a meeting to discover this. He seems to believe that political polarization isn't a problem we Americans need to worry that much about, and suffice to say that I don't see it that way. But I do also like his favored reforms of list PR, as I'm generally supportive of pretty much any form of proportional representation.

Thank you for making this available! I remember doing the opening and end credits with Simon Edkins - it was quite cutting edge at the time! There were a few of us at the very beginning of the Macs on campus who did training, documentation and worked in the Software Development Group. Lots of good memories and lots of fun!

Thanks for sharing. I recently acquired one of the original Drexel stamped Mac 128k. At first I thought of ways to remove the blue "D". But after I did some research I found this would have been a bad idea. This is a piece of computing history! It been interesting to watch the story between Apple and Drexel. Thanks!

Thank you DU libraries. I always want to attend these meetings, but usually can't. Having them available on KZbin allows me to view them at my leisure. Hopefully more people view so we can continue the discussion in the comments.

@whatever3009. We know the bathrooms aren't always in the best shape but we do our best to have them cleaned regularly. If you ever notice that they're exceptionally bad, like the situation you describe, please know that you can contact one of our staff members at the reference desk and we can have someone come by to clean them again.
