It tastes as if you have cleared out the stables and poured hot water onto horse sh+t, no mixing of anything can cover the taste. I know this is probably an unfair comparison, but those gauchos must have cast iron balls to drink this. I tried Mistletoe Tea, taste is not good, but at least you can mask it with some bags of cheap fruit tea, and tastes great cold or hot. No more waking up to urinate every hour.

Hilarious...... This guy thinks it's rocket science. So much misinformation it's astoundingly hilarious. The "dust" comes from the leaves and the stems. It's not a "a third component". The water should not be hotter than 70C. You don't move the bombilla once it's in there. You don't need 45 minutes of preparation to enjoy mate. And there's "the french press"? How is that "the more conventional way? This has to be a comedy skit......... It's not as complicated as this load-in-the-pants makes it seem.

This video blew me away because I've been brewing Yerba like any other loose tea - steeping one teaspoon in a boiling (!) water for a few minutes. Apparently all wrong!
