This is a bit bias. NSX was being pushed way harder than most of the other cars. Just him braking last minute, down shifting like crazy, way more aggressive driving.

All I see is that NSX was ALL OVER THE PLACE while the F355 was planted AF. With a 10 lap race the F355 would eat that NSX alive... 😅

Amazing droning skills. It does look as though the Japanese cars are driven at 10/10ths and the others ar 8-9/10ths but that's probably familiarisation

the F355 has 375hp. The NSX has 270 hp(I doubt the one in the video has that, more like 300). The NSX is 100kg lighter. But NSX has v-tec so the 3.0 V6 dispite less HP has more or less the same performance as the 355's 3.5 V8.

Possibly, in the context of this race and what these drivers could achieve yes. The 550 could be better here but the ferraris both proved they are the fastest around a circuit like this if driven properly. The nsx and evo were driven very well. Hockenheim and Nordschleifen times shouldn't be the reference to a car's performance.

Bit of both I reckon, it could be part driver, part base performance and I'm curious how the center diff is set aswell it could be the center diff is set incorrectly and hindering the car's performance in some capacity

Driven in all 4 (owned Evo 6 and 3 gc8 sti's) they might not be lookers but out the box they are faster then the NSX and RX7 by a wide margin. Evo feels like a 2000s car and handles like no other but gc8 sti feels like a 90s car with low down torque which I prefer the sensation.

@@265justy modifications wise yes but stock for stock no. I'll give you an example a few years back my brother beat a stock rx7 with his stock (daily driver) 2005 accord v6 lmao. 90s hero cars look sexy but they don't make much juice out the box.

@@wt8213 I took down an STi with an DC5 Type R. I bought an FD afterwards and was a total step up in terms off power. Could pull away from a buddy's Evo 4 on a rolling start. A V6 Accords performance specs are along ways off a car that do 0 to 60 in 5.2 secs and top out at over 160 mph. That RX7 you raced must have had a crap driver or else the it just wasn't running good.. Bacicly it was f, cked.

Ferrari 355 drives like it's on rails. The driver probably wasn't pushing it further to its limits. It's so stable at the corners comapred to evo and nsx that kept on shaking.
