I got mine off of the official NVIDIA website, there was a Win11 driver released yesterday for the 780 that should work with your setup, and if you’re on Win10 it should still work with that as well.

Cool little video! I've built the PC I'm using back when I was in my second year of high school after saving money here and there featuring an Haswell i5-4570 and an R9 270X. I thought I would have replaced it in 4-5 years, but here I am 10 years later still rocking it with barely any issues. I've even used it to get work done during the pandemic! I'm impressed with how well this architecture has aged. It went through Windows 8 -> 8.1 -> 10 and finally 11 (forced upgrade, but no issues). It'll be time to replace it soon I fear, but I'll miss it for sure.

For sure! Haswell has aged very well and if you pair it with some nice components it’ll still get the job done. There’s some workloads I’ve found where it takes a bit to load until it catches its breath, but overall it’s pretty surprising how well it holds up. Eventually these things will get too old, but for now they’re plenty capable. Appreciate you watching!

The 2600K was and still is a better CPU, the 8350 was a great value back in the day, however the multi-threading on the i7 as well as the higher performance of it's 4 cores makes it a better choice than the 8350. I think it’d make a difference in things such as GTA where it wouldn’t crash due to running out of memory, but that’s it. 😂 Anything else I think it just wouldn’t be good at doing and the things it’s good at doing are done better by a Chromebook (which this thing should be) with its lighter OS. Windows 11 S is still Windows underneath all the “store apps only!” nonsense. While there is headway to improve it, any dollar put into this could’ve just been spent on an older computer that’s light years faster, which is where my main hate of this computer’s existence comes from. I won’t lie though, there are definitely some slow downs when running the unsupported macOS versions and I don’t see the Intel Macs getting support for too many years to come, (much less the cMPs being able to run those, as Sonoma is a bit of a challenge for it.)
