The larger rectangle is 10”x5.5” and the smaller one is 7”x5.5”. The middle piece is 2”x6”. Hope this helps! 😊

Ive made so many pairs of the peppermint pattern trousers, but have never been brave enough to do the front zip 😅 always finish mine off with an invisible zip in the side or back
@joannaflorencemakes29 күн бұрын
I bet you could sew a front fly zip! They’re really not as scary as they seem 😄 Definitely give it a go! ✂️

I have watched TONS of KZbin sewing content over the last six years, and cannot believe your channel only popped up in my feed just now! I have even searched for more sewing channels, and this is the first I've seen you! Anyway, I really liked your video and subscribed right away. (I do wish you would leave images up for more than one or two seconds though.)

Hi, thank you for all the info. I’m looking to get back into machine sewing after many years and so am obsessively researching machines, accessories and techniques. Your video was great, especially given such extensive dental work, I hope your mouth feels better now. Anyway, off to click the subscribe button now 🙂

Do you know if the 1034dx is just as loud and has similar stitches?
@joannaflorencemakes5 ай бұрын
I’m not 100% sure on the loudness but both have exactly the same stitches. …Saying that, the 1034DX does seem just as noisy from the KZbin videos I’ve seen of it! Happy sewing ✂️

Thanks for all the info. I'm curious what walking foot did you use? Might get this as my first machine
@raraavis77827 ай бұрын
Looks useful. I use the 'foldet piece of cardboard' method, but it sometimes slips out under the pressure foot to early. Weird, that I've never seen them anywhere, I've been sewing for 2+ decades.
@joannaflorencemakes7 ай бұрын
I used to use that method (or using a folded piece of fabric) until I discovered this tool. It’s a very useful thing to have in your sewing box. Happy sewing! 😊

It's been on my list for...ummm...29 years to research what the heck this thing that came with my sewing machine is. I really should have taken the time to do that. Thanks! I'm imagining all the future times I won't be dreading tailoring my jeans. Ahhhh. Blissed out in advance.

🙏🏼 Joanna, I don’t have a tv I just watch KZbin vidéos while sewing & crafts , your channel just popped up ! Congratulations on your engagement 🎉 3/6d in old currency before 1971 was three shillings and six pence - 17 and half penny, no half pennies anymore so less that 20p in today’s hyper inflation 😊 I have a wonderful collection of vintage patterns found cheaply from charity shops, I love them but don’t use them , too fragile - just make my own block patterns. Have liked & Subscribed to your channel 👏🏼💟👗
