At 10:22 Brother J is saying that there rap groups who are pretending to be into black consciousness and knowledge, but they are only a sideshow to earn money, attention and fame. Sisieees is a reference to blacks who refuse to fight for blackness or pretenders. In this context, it doesn't refer gays.

When Brother J speaks of the devil, he speaks of the western colonizers doubting the idea that Africa's people could build the paramids. You get it, sand and paramids. How high! How could polar bears swing on a vine with a gorilla? Is a Tarzan reference? Vultures steal food and eat dead things. It is a metaphor for taken from Africa and black people cultures and resources.

Pac was a legal gun owner, that's why he only got gun charges in New York when he took gun chages for Biggie and Junior Mafia. He never got gun charges in Atlanta or Cali.

Ahh is how you pronounce ‘opera’, like ahh -pruh, which is like a musical drama, traditionally based in classical music from 1600’s, 1700’s, etc. Then more modern music started being used to create operas. There’s a traditional opera called Carmen by classical composer Bizet (bizzay). In the 1950’s a movie musical version was created called Carmen Jones, starring Harry Belafonte & Dorothy Dandridge. In 2001, Beyoncé starred in a made for cable musical, Carmen: A Hip Hopera, produced by Robert Townsand. Would recommend Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Doo Wop (That Thing), which you provided checked out already. Yeah Lauryn is kinda like Pac on the talent tip. As you can hear, she got crazy vocals, & she can drop bars wit funk precise of best rappers, AND she’s an actress. I had been trying to think who would be best to play Nina Simone in a movie, when it was announce Zoe Saldana would play Nona & folks was buggin! Had forgotten about Lauryn, she’d be perfect no doubt. Nina had drama & Lauryn has mos definitely had her share. Cool reaction, respect! 👍🏾

I love that you’re actually taking the time to understand this. We all caught this pretty easily because this was our focal point. They want to tell you that everything was NWA and gangster rap and that’s not true. We had plenty of brothers that were on a real movement, we kept our minds open. Our third eye was never blind.

‘Dame’ is a historically old name for femal, from the German word, Dame, or damen (women). You might see 😊that on gender specific bathrooms there. Females: MC Lyte - Ruff Neck; Lauren Hill - Doo Wop (That Thing). Reaction👍🏾
