I would expect even higher FPS with your build, due to AMD GPU achieving higer FPS in general and your 7600x3d outperforming i5 9600k by at least 30%. I think you will be more than fine ;)

Does anybody know how to start non-STEAM Raven Strike in Ubisoft Connect? Got this DLC installed but can't launch - no "new game" option in in-game menu. Activated not in Extra/Downloadable Content (which doesn't work now at all) inside the game but in Uplay (Ubisoft Connect now) in activation sector. But I see it in properties (with the key listed) and it is definitely installed. Ubisoft support replies in bla-bla style.

Verify integrity of game files, quit the Connect, relaunch. Its probably haven't caught up with the content installed. I'll check if I have the DLC via uPlay to see better steps.

I'd say 4080 would have higher FPS by default (I made a video where I compared 4070ti vs 4080 with i5 9600k), but overall its just generic UE5 performance. The game is slightly more optimised now, so it should run fine-ish, but for future perhaps a slightly faster CPU would be a good idea.

on my pc RTX3080oc this game go at a fix of 60 fps always (because the game is cap to 60) all maxed out witha a GPU usage of 60%

Update: Some of the features in UbiConnect, or in my case, all of them, do not work correctly in certain countries. The fix is quite simple: use a VPN to get UbiConnect working properly. I didn't see the system detection file appear until I used a VPN, and even then, I didn't need to delete it, as the game worked surprisingly well. My job requires me to travel frequently between Turkey and other countries, so it seemed odd that everything in Ubi worked normally in one country but not in another. I hope this helps! GPU is loaded at 50% because you have fps locked at 144fps.

There is no way to lock the fps in game. At 01:16 mark you can see the vsync is turned off. My monitors refresh rate is 144hz. Which means, game still locks itself on vsync despite the setting being off.

Go to the configuration file location. Open TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG in the text editor of your choosing. Change the line "framerate_control" : "Auto", to "framerate_control" : "Variable", and save the file.

I can confirm, with a 4070ti my fps were 59 to 45 fps with a Oydessy G9. Turn down MSAA to x2 and it jumped up 20fps. MSAA for some reason is the killer on the GPU.

yep, my 4070 can run hogwarts legacy on ultra + ray tracing on 1440p with 80-100+ fps, but get 40fps fluctuating in this 10 years old+ game, f that msaa garbage

@@CallMeHooLi are u kidding me? its impossible… RTX 4070 Ti is powerfull GPU i think! my pc is about 2 years old and have an i7-12700K + 32 gb ram and gpu RTX 3080 Gaming Z Trio LHR OC with 10 Gb, this game run at max setting ( with all setting and slider to max no compression and aa 16x) at 60 FPS FIXED (probably more if them wasn’t cap) because is an old game. Game like Farcry 4-5 run at 120 fps with max settings.

Hey man, 9900K and RTX 4070Ti owner here 😀 Strangely, the CPU isn’t used at 100% to be a bottleneck for the GPU. I play on ultra settings at 1440p with DLSS Quality and Frame gen and have 99% GPU utilization in this location. However, in the Vatican library my CPU is at 60% and GPU utilization drops to 75-80%. Is it time to replace the 9900K with something new? What do you think?😮

Unless you see a massive drop in FPS (which you shouldn't), I dont think there is a need to change it. I treat this title similar to Starfield. To check FPS , use ALT+R to bring up Nvidia performance metrics and you can see what's happening.

There's also issues in the PC multiplayer as well. If you alt-tab during a game it kicks you out of the multiplayer game with a network disconnect message. Lots of the multiplayer maps have newly introduced issues as well The original PC version comes with a map editor that allows you to make entirely new maps which UE also didn't ship with A really horrible port.

STALKER 2 feels to me like a great example of empty handed insurrection. Millions of glassy eyed gamers jumping into a niche franchise that celebrates being a niche franchise. I was happy that as an original 2007-09 disc player, the devs still made me figure out game mechanics as I played the sequel. The first time I got stuck due to being over-encumbered trying to cross shallow water was a great refresher course about what the series really is.

The game uses ray tracing at all times, but players have the option to turn on path tracing. Ray tracing was added on day 1 patch for the game. Ultra settings have RT enabled by default, going on high preset should take it off-ish.. ?

Having issues with FG and DLSS and RT. Stuttering and all sorts. have a Rtx 4070 super. should be able to play at 4k, supreme with DLSS quality and FG..... But cant

Never tried 4K or DLSS+ FG. Do DLSS alone gives any performance boost? FG can be temperamental at times from what I have observed in other titles (simply does not work, but mostly in UE5 games).

Without spoilers I have to say the performance is consistent throughout the game. And up to this point I did not have to enable any DLSS or Frame Generation, it really runs that well.

The ID5 engine is a really great engine, and I do love me some DOOM Eternal, but the environments in IJTGC are so full and lush and vibrant that I was a little concerned that it would tank the frames. Game should arrive tomorrow, I'm dying of anticipation! 😁

Imagine the gains of having Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU paired with rtx4090! Easily 300fps+ in game! And what if you overclock the ddr5 RAM and CPU and put it all onto gen5 nvme? Surely it could easily break 350fps+ in game. But what if you built Ryzen 9 9950X system ? It might even break the 400fps+ in game! No time to waste, go build it and flex it all over internet how you spent a fortune for bunch of pixels. Surely they will crown you a president, I honestly don't see how this pro-strat could backfire in any shape or form! I'll be waiting on the performance results!

@@Frit-Tha-G I appreciate your concern for my upgrade choices, but you have missed the point of my channel. I would pair Q6600 cpu with 4080s within a heartbeat just for the fun of it. P.s- If you looked at newer videos, you would see that I got 9900k because I wanted it as the last upgrade before I need to change whole socket for anything new. Also I'm past the age of chasing new releases every year just for pixel fest framerate. Running a top rig which will be relevant for up to 5 years and do it all again is something where I see money loss, instead of investment. But I never claimed my approach to gaming is not questionable. It's borderline insanity, as far as I'm concerned :).

Same to me. I have the game on Steam all the dlc. I had activated the game and redeemed the codes on my old computer. However when I installed the game on my new computer and clicked on downloadable content there is no window to enter the codes. I repeat that I have all the dlc and the codes on steam. I do not have the game on Uplay so there is no confusion between different versions like in the video.

@@MrLangobard, I'm quite sure: I see it in properties and the folder DLC2 installed but no "new Raven Strike campaign" is available. I own non-STEAM version, DLC is bought directly from Uplay (Ubisoft Connect now). Support is completely null.

@@w1tne5S get the CD key for DLC from uplay: go to your "Library", select the game you want the key for, click the three dots next to it, choose "Properties", and then under the "General" tab, select "Display Keys". If it allows to activate it, you just need to create a new campaign save file and it will show up. Having only one instance for the game is way easier than having two.

I think the cancer set in in gaming when WoW put achievements in game for raids and dungeons, even for none raid specific things. "LFM "raid name here" MUST HAVE ACHIVEMENT" I saw players who were perfectly competent at their class were excluded by brainlets who had been carried by people far better than themselves and I see that now with these people claiming to be experts in what they are doing. That and the youtube algorithm and the big Mr beast style clickbaity KZbinrs and twitch / social media attention seekers have dumbed it down to the lowest denominator. I was trying to find thing for a different game and the guy was saying a lot of nothing and very little substance. And it was aimed at the tiktok brigade. like Dude Im trying to make my train on Transport Fever 2 slightly more efficient.

I'm definitely guilty of looking up a guide or two, unfortunately nowadays you cant even avoid getting presented this information, thumbnail has the location with a circle on it with a title (Best xyz in game) and you cant even forget this information. I remember reading up on the old cheatbook website about there being armor in rookie village, and after that every other installation of stalker i played i checked there haha. But a lot of enjoyment in games is exactly the opposite, going in blind and experiencing the game, guides and videos will just water down your personal experience after which you won't enjoy the game as much. I remember playing through kingdom come on it's hardcore settings, no compass, fast travel, debuffs galore, it was definitely some of the top videogame experiences. What i don't like is getting things straight up spoiled by thumbnails and titles, no respect for others.

Mix of medium/high, dlss+FG on+ stability MOD from Nexus to battle the shader compilation. Since perf patch is out, its not required unless you run into serious performance issues

It's normal to be curious about being prepared before you dedicate some serious time to the game. But if having heads up enhances your experience, you do you. This is just my personal opinion on the matter, not taking a stab at anyone in particular.

Gaming with guides and gaming without guides is 2 completely different experiences. This year, I've tried ignoring basically every video giving away weapon and equipment locations. You don't learn if you don't experience the trial and error yourself. The first AKM and TOZ you find feel a lot more sentimentally valued when you worked for it yourself and experienced the random events yourself.

From what I can tell, the only thing special about the unique weapons is the skin. They all have the same upgrades as the standard versions, but they come with one already unlocked. The armors can be a bit OP since you can go straight to Pripyat via glitch and pick up free exosuits, but it just seems boring to get specific things right at the start and only use those the entire play through. Part of the fun of the original games and Anomaly/Gamma was having to improvise when your primary weapons ran out of ammo or broke, forcing you to use something else.

Please for the love of God, experience Stalker 2 BLIND! Don't know if you should go to a certain part of the map? Go there! Accidentally stumble on a Snork cave, Bloodsucker lair, or Chimera lair? Run! See a cool anomalous zone? Try to get an artifact! Think there's a stash on a corner of the roof? Climb up and find out! Don't know what choice to make in the main quest or side quest? Just choose and live with it! Found out that looting those safes and stashes in the beginning before losing your gear actually makes you lose out on that stuff early on? That's fine!
