We have not Wally Docked (yet), and are not planning to, but understand sometimes that what you need to do. We love Buffalo Wild Wings and stop anytime we are close to one. Love the Tuesday BOGO special.

We have not stayed at a Walmart but we have stayed at a Cracker Barrel. It worked out ok. We would stay at Walmart if we needed to. We usually HH for quick overnights.

We looked for a HH or a Cracker Barrel and there were zero in the area! Those are our go to's for one night stays too! This wasn't as bad as we thought and surprisingly it took us 3 years full-time before having a Walmart stay!

It took us 3 years of full-timing before staying in a Walmart! We normally do a Harvest Host or Cracker Barrel for overnight stays, however, there were zero in the area, so Walmart it was. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. It is a tool for RVers and we would stay again if needed. Glad we could give you some confidence if you have to stay at a Walmart!

Very sorry to hear about your friend's death. We never make reservations ahead of time for big trips. We've considered ourselves lucky. Call one day ahead of time. Never had a problem. Waiting to hear about Alaska trip!

After 2 years of full timing we haven’t done a Walmart overnight yet, but we do have a Love’s Campground scheduled later this month for the first time 🤞

@@jdroberts3363 It took us three years of full-time to end up in a Walmart! 😆 - We did a Loves in Texas and we are not in love with Loves! Expensive & super loud with Interstate & Truck noise. On I40 in Texas. Good luck

Does Maya sleep in the same bed as you both ? Our 2 dogs do. It’s nice but sometimes we have to put them in another room if you know what I mean ! lol .. Next time travel through the lake of the ozarks in the summer time, a lot of good bars and have to check out party cove. Have to meet up next time your in the Des Moines area.. Happy Travels !

@@witz224 Maya crawls in bed with us and the second Joel puts his CPAP on she goes to the floor!! 😆 then around 5:30 am she comes barreling up and went under the covers & head down under them by our feet. But we wake up to her with her head taking up half of the pillow and snoring! 😆 We want to spend more time in the Lake of the Ozarks- we only got two nights there and not enough time. Thanks

Not impressed with what that TT park looked like....... For a very sought after location, you would think they would at least level it out. Joshua Tree is on our list even though after growing up in AZ, we've seen them our whole lives!! PS, always wear closed toes shoes in the desert!! See ya soon!!

@@campinwiththeconfers We have been there twice and both times we didn't spend enough time there. A week or two would be perfect. This time we were there for two nights and the first time 4 nights. It is so worth visiting!

Hey guys great day in our book! Love Waylon, willy and the boys! If I give Ron a glass of wine or beer I can get him to walk and look at flowers too! LOL! Ron orders pretzels just for the mustards if they are good mustards! Alll the stops looked like fun. LOL! This why we also really love September cause most kids are back to school and we love having alll the places to oursleves! Nice ending that was a great song and looked like a nice country road! That was quite the hike. 😂. Yes, hate driving in those crazy winds. I can only imagine how bad it is in the Tiffin. It’s amazing how hazy it got with all the dirt being blown around between y’all felt like you were being sand blasted. Beginners luck! 😂😂.

We’re here now (July 2024) staying in site 24. Wasn’t the most level for us (37 foot class A), but with some blocks it’s fine. We’re grateful to be in the trees, because it’s so hot out in the direct sun. The power and water are definitely a bit wonky at this campground. We decided to fill our tank and just run off the water pump. Our Verizon signal has been great so far. We just streamed the USA women’s Olympic soccer game with no problem. I would definitely come back here. This is far better than the other Encore park (Yukon Trails) that’s nearby.

We had a lot of wind when we were out that way this March for the FMCA rally in Tucson. That looks like a nice park we have stayed at Little Vineyard RV Resort in the area. I don't like the wind when it slows you down when you go under a overpass.

@@WILDEBILL308 It was about the same time in March we filmed this. It was a crazy wind storm and glad we delayed a day! We so wanted to go to the FMCA rally but had to get to Texas for the solar eclipse. We really enjoyed Deming, NM.

It is hard finding a doggy area some times and thanks for letting us know. We will most likely be back through the area as we want to stay at the Tirrito Farms in Wilcox. How nice to grow up in the area it is beautiful.

I am so glad how honest Joel is on the heights I literally can't wait to tell u stories in which I drop on a couple trails and can't move and have a huge panic attack Ron didn't know what to do. So glad I am not alone. We agree with you we hate driving in wind and have had several stressful drives we would also choose to wait. Great video can't wait to see u !

Getting fuel at the gas pumps is no fun either. We have been caught in high winds several times. The last time was the day before yesterday, where it literally blew our rig around on the interstate. It's not fun. Nice park and hike. Safe travels. Lynn and Danny
