Hey jimmy I switched to 5w30 after the first early change…… my 23. At 700 km first early change had a lot of metal. Switched to 5-30 at that point. Second change at 1450km a little metal. The third change at 2600km no metal.

Pretty normal to have some in the first change. I keep hearing about people going to 5w30 and it running so much more quieter with little effects on fuel mileage. How is your fuel mileage.

@ no change as I only had the initial full tank burned before the switch but I didn’t think there was a difference, nothing I can really compare to, I’m ok with it as is

@@JimmyCain1 Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic 5W-30 is a thin 30 weight oil. Viscosity is 9.8 at 100 degrees celsius. At Walmart, 5 quart jug is $24. In Texas, I would only use 0W-20/5W-20 in a hybrid.

This just happened to me. Best part is I brought it to the dealer for an alignment and tire balance, not an oil change. I specifically said I didn’t want my oil changed yet they did it anyway and used the wrong filter. Really can’t make this stuff up lol. Think there’s any damage that could have been done with unfiltered oil flowing through the engine and bearings?

How tall are you? I have a dinghy but I’m looking to get a LY long board and just super torn about which one to get. I like the Evo 36 but concerned that the stance won’t be wide enough for my taste. So the Evo 40 is probably my number one pick or the drop cat 38. Just looking for any insight you’re willing to share. Would you choose the 33 over the 38 if you could do it again? I come from a background of snowboarding and like carving but don’t want to feel like I’m out of control. Have never had a longboard like this. Thanks again!

I’m 6’2 and either are good for cruising around, I do think the 33 turns better and quicker if your are taking tight curves but I’m sure someone better than me at longboarding could take right curves with either. Usually the longer the board the easier it is for new riders.

Sometimes they don't even change the oil, just top off liquids if lucky and wipe down the old filter to make it look fresh.

I took my car to the dealer for a 7 month oil change they said I needed to keep my warranty. Got the car back, it didnt look like they even changed the oil.

You can but I would monitor the trans temps and change the fluid every 5k. The CVT will be the weak link. I ran stage 2 for 4 months and had no issues.

Same color as mine and a great bike. I bought it last 2022 and pretty much upgraded everything except for the seat clamp, saddle and rims(since they are tubeless ready). Converted it to a 1x12 Deore GS, tubeless maxxis ardent tires, new hubs, upgraded to a Suntour Epixon 120mm Airfork and lastly carbon seat post and bars. I use it on mountain trails and on the road as my daily excercise. A great bike from a great brand.

The registration question is stumping me I’ve done Honda and Acura backwards and neither worked.
