I know a good few people who think Jack should be brought back for Borderlands 4, and honestly while id love to see him back I think it would be better to see him hinted in a few DLC instead of brought back right away, give a bit of PROPER buildup for any kind of grand return in a later game after that returning as the main villain for by the point any Borderlands 5 game might out as essentially THE villain of a entire new generation of Borderlands fans.

The moment Jack got on his knees begging Rhys to stop I literally waited like 10 minutes for something to happen but in the end you have to get the cybereye out and that broke my heart. Sure Jack is dangerous, psychopathic, narcisstic and manipulative and the perfect villain. But I didn't want him to go. I kept the eye 3 times playing and just one time I crashed it. Just because your the protagonist of a game doesn't make you the hero. His ways were wrong in a world without laws but he was the real hero and we were the villains. Best written villain of all time. Hell I wish borderlands got a animated series over a game at this point. A better scripted and written story would make the man's legacy greater. Not as if the games he was in weren't enough but just it would be wonderful

after killing Angel...I didnt really feel like some badass hero anymore. Like, yeah I get that Jack was doing horrible things to her and she WANTED to die but I wanted there to be another option. She was all Jack had left. And really? Are HIS decisions and Ideals really any different than any phsycopath from Pandora? Hes a killer, yeah but so are all of the crimson raiders, so are we. Nobody in the story of borderllands is a Hero.
