It's a good blow-mold kayak at any price, really. The only negative (and it's a glaring one) is the ridiculous placement of the paddle keeper's hook dead center on the handle on each side gunwale. The hook digs into the fingers when solo carrying. Must've been implemented by an engineer that's never carried a kayak. C'mon, Lifetime!

I will for sure try, it rips at 5pumps (which gets hard to pump). 10 shots I am fairly certain would 100% kill a small game animal.

Right! I struggle with more than 5. And 5 seems to really send it. I got it for fun and small game hunting (potentially). Not sure if it's going to break in more but the pump is stiff!

Mine shoots best with Crosman Premier domed or domed hollow points. The "gimmicky" pellets - destroyers, those with red plastic sleeves, the Gamo ones with a BB in the tip, hyper velocity alloy pellets of any kind, etc etc, aren't the most accurate in any of my dozen or so air guns. Even the Premier pellets with a pointed tip aren't quite as consistent. No pellet is terrible mind you, but the domed ones are consistently more accurate as far as I can tell.

Im no Doctor but reeling in a fish takes a lot of focus and coordination, especially for a kid. So, while he's concentrating on the physical effort of reeling, his brain might just default to some random, silly sounds instead of forming proper words.
