In fact, it is very difficult to control, and creates distortions in the modified area. In my opinion, this tool is the weakest part of Infinite Painter.

You need a stylus with pressure or a tablet with Android compatibility. I have a Wacom Intuos M and pressure works

@@claytalbert1966 It’s funny how long I had to search to find this tip. Most tutorials only show alpha lock, but this is better. Artflow is not such a hard app to figure out, but this feature seems to get overlooked. So thanks again.

You can use the technique to do many things. IE: the top layer could be a photograph of clouds and then the layer below could be text. Your text will now have a cloud fill.
