“Even now when we’re already over I can’t help myself I’m looking for you” “ when we fell something died because I knew that was the last time the last time” “but I hope some day I hope someday I make it out of here even if it take all night or 100 years ” this hits different for me because I know Adele is talking about a specific person but when I hear this masterpiece together it makes me cry because when I listen to the words for me I’m saying good bye to the innocent, hopeful, trusting, fun, extroverted side of me and transitioning in to someone more closed off, introverted and reserved I’m not who I used to be and some days I struggle to find joy in things that used to bring me absolute happiness. I’m still trying to find myself.
