if you flip it upside down you've basically got a w3 engine one more piston and then its a radial just like the old planes

You really shouldn't have a seam down the side, it could burst easily. If that's brass, it could suffer from dezincification on contact with the hot steam, weakening it. Yes, Mamod uses brass boilers, but they're using high quality brass and they know what grade of brass they're working with. For your safety, use seamless copper pipe. Over like 5 psi you really don't want to mess around with vessels full of pressurized hot steam and water.

Couldn’t get any copper tubing in my area, was originally going to make a 4” boiler, this one is quite small volume any way to run any of my engines so I won’t be using it much

New track plan, will have factory’s, engine sheds and a yard. The old track in the hill was also too steep and the curve was too sharp.

@@brickblocksJ yeah all my engines were lubed pretty well, unfortunately this engine is long gone. Prob could of got it running better if I spent more time on it.

@@brickblocksJ ngl I thought this video was my radial engine, this one being my Vtwin was a great runner, also ran good on a small flywheel. I usually had a larger wheel on for more torque and slightly better sound.

I recommend a slightly smaller flywheel. Should increase rpm. Don’t go to small though because it will jam or just not work.
