Been thinking about going to Guatemala with IVHQ, to teach English. How was your experience overall, do you recommend them?

Yes, I do recommend. I was nervous at 1st, but then I made friends in the house and the program. You will only spend like 4 to 5 hrs a day volunteering, so you have time to venture off. Although the house you stay at will cook for you, I'm a foodie and the quality of the food was cheap. Go out and eat at a restaurant for lunch and dinner. The food is fresh, tasty, and cheap.

Seeing your trip was so helpful bc during my gap year I plan on going abroad as well to volunteer. I’ll def be looking into the program
