Yea it was based off of the same short story as Maximum Overdrive, but at least Maximum overdrive wasn’t this bad. Maximum Overdrive was not funny because it was shitty, but because of comedic elements and some cheesy acting (I guess). Trucks is only funny because it sucks so bad.
