Great video. Would you be able to help me diagnose the problem on my 61. It just scans up and down and won't select.

I knew that was Teddy Grace from the very moment she began! Love that gal and so few remember her today. Thanks for posting! (I'm picking up a 616 next week. Hope I can get mine to sound and look as good as yours!)

is that metal on the back door, or just paint?
@JukeboxChrisi3 жыл бұрын
It‘s a thick formed cardboard that is painted that way.

Can you help me out? I'm restoring a 100c and it has 2 thin layers of wood (like veneer) the top layer is painted with textured paint. I stripped the painted layer off I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take off the 2nd layer or not. Both layers are delaminated from moisture but mostly just the top layer.

The 1936/7 Rock-ola Rhythm King also used a light wheel. It only turns when the record is playing. The background is a pit orchestra with the conductor leading it.

it is amazing how the arm is able to apply the correct amount of pressure to both sides of the record and it has always been a wonder of how the mechanism works to keep the arm on the record while playing the second side thank you so much for all the great jukebox videos they are great

@christiangredel28948 жыл бұрын

Right era of music it has. I have seen some odd ones, but this is super rare. That jukebox should be in a museum
@jukeboxeddie110 жыл бұрын
I have one that was restored in 1983 by Glenn Streeter who now owns Antique Apparatus & Rock-ola. The side pilasters should be buffed out by a professional to a milky white finish. Yours are badly oxidized to an orange color -- this is not the original look of the box. If you decide to ever buff them out, you will notice that the machine will absolutely "Pop." Mine is also triple-chrome plated and topped off with a never-rust clear coat to protect it against tarnishing or flaking. Your jukebox looks pretty good regardless. Nice job.

I am impressed. It took a lot of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears to restore this machine. It's magic to see and hear these great machines play on like they are supposed to do in reality and not in memory. Thanks!
