There’s nobody who can sing CCR songs with the vocals like John. His songs has to be sung in that high octave, screaming, and hysterical style to be meaningful. Tell me if I am wrong. Has anybody sung any, even if one cover, of John’s song.

I never thought I'd live to see John Fogerty, so when I went to this festival (my 14th out of 22 1983-2005 - I missed 1994 due to my trip to the US to follow Sweden in he WC in football/soccer), I was really moved since I grew up with mum's (b. 1937) 5 LPs with CCR that she bought in 1973 when my ole' man (b. 1919...) had died and she bought some exclusive stereo equipment for some of the insurance money (yada, yada, yada...). I played the albums more than she did, and I knew every song by heart. So when he started playing 'Who'll Stop the Rain' - and it just had started raining - the audience sang along as my tears started falling down my cheeks. Or was it just the raindrops...?!?🤔 This has been on ("unofficial") CD for years, still...❤‍🔥I saw him again in Malmö, Sweden, a couple of years later - he's got this thing for Sweden and Finland, and vice versa. And he belongs to the exclusive group of world artists born in 1945 (Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley and then some - Clapton's friend and neigbour in the late 50s and 60s, Jeff Beck was born in 1944 and died a year ago...).🎻

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH Dan Conway when he said, fantasy records they robbed us of years of a man that is truly top-shelf. They stoled, tortured, taunted and abused this very fine and God-gifted man.. How could those people live with themselves, there is no way that those people could believe what they did to John was fair, honest, and proper, no way and not in my books

I can’t thank you enough Julie for thawing John Fogerty out. Without you I don’t get to see John play at all. I got to take my 6 year old son to his first concert , which was John , and John went out of his way to say hello to my son Stephen. He’s 30 now and we both get chills talking about that day. Thank you John and again , Thank You Julie. 🙏❤️

I would say: Proud Mary is actually the song of Tina Turna: She has made this song to her own and John Fogerty was big and gentle enough to allow her that.
