Religious superstition is a funny thing. For example, in my Afrikaner childhood, nobody was ever allowed to leave anything on top of a Bible, except a hymn book.

Morning Ockert. I remember those days fondly when people still had strong believes and values. I think we need some of the respect for God and the Bible back in our houses as today's "anything-goes" way of thinking and doing is destroying people's personal lives, their families and their faith. Believing in God and having FAITH is the cornerstone of everything good in this world and having respect in the way that the Afrikaner people had for God is the only way to make any sense in this broken world. That faith that the Afrikaner people had made them highly successful and they build a country from nothing where the South-African rand was stronger than the dollar. Blessings for you. Herman

Herman
