I specifically looked for this test cause I'm considering swapping 911 for 296 and I use the Porsche as a daily and in the snow as well. So I was happy to see some people use the Ferraris in the winters as well and I'm grateful for the test.

I saw other ftype R v8 videos and the exhaust on those videos isnt popping crackling that much. why is that anybody knows?

There's been an engine software update that has reduced the pops and bangs on a lot of newer cars ( lots of complaints from owners about it ) it is a little detrimental to the catalytic converters. If I send mine for service at JLR I tell them NOT to install the update.

You can actually go into the hidden/diagnostics menu and safely enable the touchscreen while the car is moving. It takes about 5 seconds to do and is reversible.
