WauW kOrY, I finally found your channel :) - I am totally new at this FPV, thing but your flyingstyle, haven't I heard Mr. Bardwell mention a Cony .. as king of a specific style of flying .. id say you didn't update escs and gave it to many amps in turtle mode is what smoked the esc, also need to use the battery strap to hold the power wire, Steele also doesn't use the motor feet, awesome you built it and had gave it a go man, thanks

Update to the fc after many years.. i just purchased and received my v2 c250 and it did not need the pads soldered, i just plugged it in to betaflight and set the arm switch and was ready to go!

Pretty much as durable as any other drone as long as you dont crash at high speeds into concrete.

do the kiss rate settings work the same way as betaflight?

No they are different. Not sure in what way, but if you try to copy the rates, they will not fly the same. Very similar, but not the same. There is some sort of secret sauce with KISS.

In regards to how you soldered the power lead and connector. Do you just solder to the surface of the pad or do you route the wire through the hole and solder from the other side?

Which receiver are you using. I’m thinking of changing from frsky to crossfire and use tbs tango. My googles are eachine ev800d. Dji is quite expensive for me at the moment.

do you know if its lhcp or rhcp? (sorry if this is a repeat question) .. got one coming in myself and im stoked.. (im also curious about the goggle / radio compatibility with other drones if you feel like touching on that also) .. thanks in advanced o7

I am unsure if it is lhcp or rhcp since it has been a number of years since I had this drone. As far as goggle compatibility, they are analog so they will be able to pick up virtually any analog video signal from any VTX. If you try to use digital goggles on a drone with a VTX it will not pick up the signal because DJI digital FPV goggles only work with a DJI air unit. Hope this helps!

One of my motors on the 6s isn't working. The replacement stock motors are not available with bangood. Can you please let me know if I can use any other brand of motors like iflight and if yes which ones? Please help

Yes you can use other branded motors, you just need to be sure to get them in the same spec as the Cvatar. These are just rebranded BetaFPV motors I believe.

I thought they sell it as a ready to fly doesn't that mean that you can just take everything out of the box and fly? So if I get the ready to fly, do I have to do all the sottering and linking up to the goggles your talking about? I thought it came with goddles and transmitter that's ready to fly?

RTF means the drone is fully assembled. It does not mean that it comes with a remote and goggles. You need to check the description on their website to see what the drone itself comes with. This video is years old, so I am unsure what packages they are selling it with.

The batteries he uses would save about 30 grams. To me its not noticeable enough to justify spending $50 a battery though.

No this will not come with batteries unless specified by the listing on Arris' website. You will need a 4s 1300mah Lipo battery.
