Great Video Series. Thank you very much. In the rare event that you mine a block, how are you notified and how do you move the Bitcoin to your wallet?
@ericgauthier8893Күн бұрын
It is sent to your wallet automatically I believe. As long as your setup properly.

Chances of mining a single Bitcoin (i.e., successfully finding a block) with a Bitaxe Gamma 601 (BM1370) solo miner are astronomically low. The device’s hashrate is tiny compared to the global network, meaning the expected time to find even one block is on the order of millions of years (based on typical assumptions). In practical terms, the probability is so small that it might as well be considered zero from an investment or time perspective. PLEASE---just buy $200 worth of Satoshi's!!!! So, you’d get roughly 190,476 Satoshis for $200 at a Bitcoin price of $105,000 per BTC. Saylor just mentioned $400M per bitcoin. That would be $4 per Satoshi, or $761,904.

When I first got my Gamma it was 2.4.0 and was running for 3 days and best diff was 4.16G since then I’ve updated several times to the latest firmware and the best diff has been 712M. Any thoughts on why it’s not as high of diff number yet it’s run for weeks
@VortexBitcoin5 күн бұрын
That's to be expected. It's gonna be somewhat random with when you get higher or lower scores. Just let it run for a while and over time it'll trend higher and higher as it keeps making more guesses.

I actually bought it that way from D-Central so I didn't have to add it myself. d-central.tech/product/the-bitaxe/ref/ariel.bravy/ As for the power supply, I have replaced all of them with a custom one which I shared here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npXIfXdpfLmVa6M

Anybody else using public pool for the solomining and notice all your bitaxe's not showing in their dashboard. I consistently will find at least one of my bitaxe gamma's not showing on public-pool but i can verify its hashing.

@slimanus8m16 күн бұрын
It doesn't make much sense does it? The idea is cool But you get a $899 device to print money, it will print $60 a month, even if the electricity is free, it will still take you 14-16 months to break even I don't get it
@VortexBitcoin16 күн бұрын
You get it in place of a normal heater that doesn’t give you anything. The Bitcoin you earn IMO helps offset the running costs and support the network as a bonus, not make you wildly rich.
