Great unboxing. I bought the Tumi Alpha 3 for exactly the same 2-3 day trips. It's worked beautifully to carry my office kit as well as 2 shirts, underwear/socks, night kit and CPAP. One hack I always recommend on nylon backpacks is to spray well with 3M Scotchguard protectant. Keeps bags fresh and new for years.

Arctic specifically says not only on their website, but literally on the packaging, and the manual for this paste, to NOT spread this thermal paste when applying. It strictly shows a color diagram on the 2 ways they want u to apply the thermal paste to achieve the best and longest lasting results. lol but ok.

I recently bought a used Hyte Y60 Black for $1100. It had a Rizen 9 7900 CPU and 4070 TI. Same Corsair AIO as in this video 32 GB DDR ram 5200. It also has a 1TB storage. It was such a good deal was worried something was broken and seller didn't want to say but I he was a out of country college student sold it cheap cause he was moving back home couldn't bring PC along 😂. I mean the GPU alone is like $700+.

What settings are you using for preferences. I have a 7950x3d and 4070 ti super and DaVinci studio. I am having a hard time knowing what encoders to use for rendering 4k 30fps video that’s typically 20 minutes to 40 minutes long

depends on what the video is for. Usually H.265 / MP4 / Encoder auto / profile Main / Variable bitrate

Yeah ive been absolutely disliking the media behind these cards. They will get on nvidia no matter. What all complained why doesnt it have more uplift? Yeah while giving it to you for hundreds less? Why cant they be happy. Thank you for the breathe of fresh air. And people wonder why nvidia jokes about gamers. I mean if others are gonna dish it they better be able to take it. People act as if ai and the tech inside isnt more advanced ever and peolle expect to get all of that for 980 prices from 7 years ago lol. Even people like gamer nexus who i believe is off base on so luch but he has so much followers and he found a niche getting onto brqnds which gives him attention, more money and more subs and people think he does it because he cares lol. Listen im happy he does it but the way he does things and talks about thjngs even good things strikes me wrong. Like some of these youtubers it does.t matter how good something is they wotn be happy until we get a 4080 level card at 350 dollars. I legit actually get why nvidia gets upsrt at us and god forbid if a brand or company makes a mistake omg its game over for everything and everybody! Them pitchforks come out lpl.

I undervolted my 5900x and it lowered my temps by 20c and gave me an extra 2000 poimts in cinebench. Here in canada It gets to -40c in the winter and 35c in the summer. So having that lower temp in the summer is a huge win

Sodimm you mean? Camm2 is faster, lower latency, and takes less space. Camm2 is dual channel off of just the single stick, and the sticks can increase in size to like 128 gb. Obviously they’d get a little longer as size grows but on desktop that should be easily accounted for. There is also lpcamm2 which is specifically designed for laptops. It’s all pretty new but it honestly seems like a good, albeit small, step forward for memory modules

Of course you can, but it depends on what 4090s as there is no standard size. Check your measurements and compare.

Long before PC CPUs were ever really hot enough to need a good thermal interface, I was a licensed radio operator building power amplifiers and the likes. I learned how to do thermal paste way back then from the radio enthusiast community. It's an entirely different community with very different ideas / methods. The way they taught me is like you, but much less timid. They'd apply it to the heatsink, no the device, and spread it with a pocket knife until it was a thin film... it's fine if its a bit thicker in places, but a thin film is all you need. In the Tech/PC community, the typical dot/cross/smiley face on the CPU for me is just lazy and improper -- but the AM5 platform seems to be correcting a lot of the problems the PC community had (in my opinion anyway).
