It does not matter how many times I hear Kaylee sing she hits my heart with her purity. Oh yes, my eyeballs suffer from wetness too.

I’m 52 and masked so hard I am also just now trying to understand who I am. It’s absolutely crazy. I think worse than forgetting who we are is wasting so much energy on masking deprives NDs of the ability to develop into who they are, their interests and skills. And then even more tragic are NDs with difficulty communicating in any way their NT caretakers can understand; and so are deprived of the real support they need to thrive and grow. It wasn’t even 40 years ago NDs were institutionalized in asylums for inability to communicate. Literally thrown away and silenced. I’m so glad things have changed for so many of us and especially for this younger generation.

Just stumbled on this, been loving the Killard School version for years. So, they did the original lyrics here. As much as I love the Leonard Cohen song, I think I actually love the Killard lyrics more. That performance will never been matched, it is Heaven sent. Still, she is lovely and I'm happy for her (and for me and all of us) that she has moved forward with work like this. She is amazing! God bless!

When I first saw this girl singing this song I thought it was extremely beautiful and so innocent looking with Haley in what I assume to be in her school uniform looking so sweet and innocent and what I see now is still a beautiful vision as far as Haley, but is being contaminated with outside input and is interfering with her original appearance and visual look..! Keep it up, as far as your performing though, Haley, hats off to you..!
