there's no audio and the clip is sped up, this is genuinely so funny. why doesn't it benefit anyone to have a "workshop" for automatonism especially ran by a Spanish woman. I cannot think of anything more useless. I bet she charged money for this "workshop" too, when people give away 1000x better tutorials that aren't just slapping a trigger sequencer down and calling it a day. holy shit. and all these women are so disinterested, they would rather be talking about patriarchal oppression and colonialism or playing with cats. useless things.

Can I do a chain of pedals, condenser mic in the voco loco, send out to my plethoraX5 and out to my jims800 then to my PA from the jims800? Still new to all this and trying to figure it all out.

The Voco Loco offers phantom power for a condenser mic, so you can use that as input source. The effect chain is separate - you can add any effects/units, as long as you go out and back in with a jack cable (send / receive). The pedals you mention can be used in any case. Note that the effects chain does not plug directly into the PA. The Voco Loco acts as a mixer between the dry signal and the effects chain, aside from being an amplifier, making the two compatible with each other. So with the knobs on the Voco Loco you can control to what extent you use the dry signal from the condenser mic, or to what extent you hear an effected (wet) signal. You can also turn the wet on or off with the stomp switch. Hope this helps

Thanks for good tutorial. I am using the spat mc paid for pack which is very easy but this workflow you describe includes more flexibility..... I wonder if i can use both... The main issue i have is now rendering a file, binaural or multichannel

Thank you for the tutorial! Do you know of any way to run Spat 5 as a standalone? Or as an API for C++, Node.js, etc.? The workflow of Max 8 doesn't really match mine.

Ive had this app since 2010, never really understood it, and took a ten year break from music, Now, I've been amazed by granular synths, and been so focused on the expensive Tasty Chips GR-1. I tried various iPad apps, and nothing comes close, but this video made me realize I had the answer all along! You literally just saved me $1000!

I just got the voco loco! Its great but struggling with the controls cause the send knob seems to lower a lot the signal when i set it at 10 while the receive doesn't compensate enough even at downright at the end. At the moment i have the mic input at 3:00 ( dry sounds optimum there) the send is at 10:00 cause after 10 it distorts the pedals and the receive at max ( from radial dealer i was told that send knob have 50dbu gain and receive knob +90dbu)
@NutsAndBolts
@NutsAndBolts Жыл бұрын
Hi Exangelus, thanks for watching! That sounds odd to me! Even if you turn down the receive, you can't raise the send over 10 o'clock without it resulting in distortion?
@TheExangelus
@TheExangelus Жыл бұрын
The mic input is at 1:00. The send at 10 and with the receive either full or back at 12:00, it distorts if i get the send over 10. The send at 11 sounds full and satisfactory but i cant get it there cause of the distortion. And it is irrelevant of lowering the gain in my soundcraft mixer. Still distorts when i sing loud.
