Aging.... utterly revolting. And I say that as a 70 yo who is disgusted every time I look in the mirror 😓😓

Still brilliant after all these years. It’s a monster hit on the Northern Soul scene back in the UK. KTF Mr Farlowe. PS We love you 2 Denny.

Here’s to Chris, he was a part of my childhood, and this was probably the first song that was quite different to the smooshing, smooth songs that went before. I reckon he helped me enjoy and appreciate The Stones, AC/DC, Meatloaf, Metallica, and a lot more bands which helped me to have an eclectic taste for music of all genres. Thank you, Chris, you were a real pathfinder for me and I’m still SO glad for that!XXXX

Loved the 1966 release and in fact still own the 45, even though for some reason I didn't understand it was only a very minor hit here in the States. That said, unlike most of the comments here, I found this performance painfully bad to listen to.

Wow, Chris is a little bit larger than the 60's all nighters at Sheffield's King Mojo club, the voice is still the same singing this classic tune, thank for the memories Chris, thankfully your not " Out of Time ".

Like someone mentioned to a comment about Paul is early eighths now so if this was eight years ago he was in his seventys so just the fact that he still plays just like the record and sings and remembers the lyrics is marvelous the fact that his voice isn't like it was live witch today is over 60 years ago I know I'm going to be 59 early next year and I use to sing some of Paul's part's and that was a strain at 23 today I couldn't come close just be glad that we have him and ringo around after the smoking heavy drinking and drugs that anyone says they didn't do to there grandchildren they probubly did.

Chris Farlowe, was an amazing vocalist, probably one of the best of his generation, and later did some great work with Jimmy Page on his solo album 'Outrider' such strong bluesy voice.

Unrecognisable from his 60's days but that voice is unmistakable. He's looking more like the old guy from the film " UP " than his skinny image of ages ago.

Yeah, what a shame, he still had it in 2008, and that's about the last year I'd have cared to see any of the 60s or 70s bands. After 70 sometimes even 60, the vocal cords are just too worn out (aged) and fragile compared to 20 to 50. Here's a great live version kzbin.info/www/bejne/boSqXqp9l91oo6s
