Yo cheers bro! Saw you replied to my comment. Heck ya, keep doing your thing😀 I got 3 rules in my life I live by. Rule 1. Attack, Attack, Attack. Rule 2. Admit nothing, Deny everything. Rule 3. Never admit defeat. You mentioned destroying yourself and suffering to achieve something great/finding yourself in the process. That’s extremely, extremely brave. Go to the deep waters my friend, try something new, explore the heights of possibility, and lastly, love yourself. Screw the people talking shit, this idea is still dope my guy🫀

There’s shitty “would you rather” tik tok accounts that are making 150k a year. I suppose having 20 accounts, something is bound to happen.
@ojamagerritsКүн бұрын
im not tryna make brain rot content though in my mind im like trying to make 20 accounts of something that I would make on one but thank you. lol short answer is my idea is 20 channels of just me trying to expand my ability to produce content, the "quality" is sacrificed in the short term, but as i attempt to make content and iterate then my 20 "10% quality" should hopefully compound until i can reach a theoretical max of 20 channels running at "100% quality" resulting in 2000% quality sort of. At least thats the idea lol. ill be bringing this up in the next video for today

This is nuts! I notice a lot of these channels don't even have thumbnails (or just very basic ones) for their videos. Is the plan to keep them all as low-effort and manageable as you can until you start to generate some actual interest?
@ojamagerrits21 күн бұрын
OMG COMMENTS lol sorry. To answer ur question. Kind of. It started that way but I'm shifting focus from the reason why I'm keeping it to low effort. That reason is to allow myself to grow into 20 "low effort" videos a day. Once I can hit my 20 videos or whatever quota makes sense, then I'll apply a little bit of "quality" to the entire system. This way when I practice a skill (writing, commentary, jokes, scripting, edits, etc) I'll try to apply it 20 times in a day just to get that 20x practice per daily cycle. At least that's the idea and this is me acting that idea out. Thanks for the question:) if there's something I could talk about in a future video ud be interested about I can try to cover it.

As the solo sales guy trying to help keep my previous company on top i can relate to not hearing good job, it also came from working with friends, they expect from you, and though they may recognize your talents, they're less likely to say anything to you, a new, level 1 painter doing well is more likely to hear praise in these instances. Had to learn to get over that part. Toxicity was also big, the painters not liking the jobs I sold, even though the owner was happy, he would always rather I take it on the chin from the team, than stick up for me to those guys. The faith thing is a bit more complicated imo. If you use faith as to be the same as trust, that brings in some baggage with faith in God. You can have faith/trust that 60mph is going to be one mile a minute, not just because the auto maker says it is, but because you can prove it is. I dont have faith a car will hold me up because chair salesman says it will, but because I know how chairs work and can test it.
@ojamagerrits5 ай бұрын
I think there might have been a misunderstanding in my analogy about trusting car manufacturers. My point wasn't about testing cars to see if they can go 60 mph, but rather about the trust we place in the safety of these cars without personally verifying all the safety tests and engineering behind them. When we drive a car at 60 mph for the first time, our trust isn't in our ability to test the speed, but in the myriad safety features and engineering standards that we believe have been rigorously checked by manufacturers and regulatory bodies. This type of trust, where we rely on the expertise and integrity of others, is similar in many ways to the kind of faith people place in various systems, whether technological, social, or even religious. It's crucial to recognize that in everyday life, we often rely on various types of knowledge and belief that aren't directly testable. For instance, historical knowledge and personal assurances, though influential, can't be proven in a lab yet they shape our understanding and actions significantly. I want to clarify that my video's goal isn’t to prove the existence of God, that’s a different discussion. Instead, I'm focusing on how the principles of Christianity, whether seen as divinely inspired or as valuable human wisdom, can lead to practical benefits. These benefits are observable in personal and societal outcomes, akin to testing through their impacts rather than through scientific means. We often place trust in untested expertise, like medical or technological advice, relying on expert interpretations rather than direct verification. In a similar way, Christian principles can be 'tested' by observing their effects on individuals and communities. It’s more about the practical outcomes of these principles than their supernatural origins. I understand there are secular alternatives to the moral teachings of Christianity. However, I find that the standards set by Jesus as a leader and the depth of transformation advocated in these teachings offer a uniquely compelling framework that often goes beyond what is typically emphasized in secular philosophies. For instance, the emphasis on forgiveness, selflessness, and community in Christianity cultivates a strong foundation for personal growth and societal harmony that might not be as pronounced in secular systems.
@jacksonbates82755 ай бұрын
Question: Why not just take any good ideas from the religion, then ignore the rest?
@ojamagerrits5 ай бұрын
This is actually a thoughtful approach and, in many ways, it aligns with what I'm suggesting in the video. I'm focusing on the practical applications of Christian principles and how they can lead to personal and societal benefits, irrespective of one's complete adherence to every aspect of Christianity. When we look at any philosophical or ethical system, including religions, it's common to find that different people resonate with different parts. The focus of my discussion is on how certain teachings of Christianity, like compassion, forgiveness, and community support, have proven to be profoundly beneficial. These aren't necessarily exclusive to Christianity, but they are central to its teachings and can be appreciated in a secular or any other non-religious context as well. The idea isn't to cherry pick in a way that undermines the coherence of the religion, but rather to acknowledge that even if one doesn't fully subscribe to the religious aspects, the moral and ethical teachings can still provide substantial value. This approach allows individuals who may be non-religious to still find wisdom in religious teachings that can be applied to improve their lives and the well being of their communities.

@PhrontDoor5 ай бұрын
@@indiangamerbg8346 Actually, we used to use biplanes. we use half the wings now.. Christianity was an attempt to market a solution to a problem that they invented and wrapping older ideologies and ethical / moral philosophies within it. For instance, abandoning talionic 'justice'. There is, in fact, nothing positive which is unique to christianity, from a moral/ethical/philosophical vantage.
@indiangamerbg83465 ай бұрын
@@PhrontDoor biplanes was necessary ( in the sense that we still didn't figure out how to make morden day planes), but not anymore. Same with Christianity, it used to help us sleep tight even tho it caused many bad things, now we've grown to a point where we don't need it anymore.
@jacksonbates82755 ай бұрын
So, we're no longer 'on sight' now right? Based on the forgiveness section.
@ojamagerrits5 ай бұрын
Forgiveness, in its essence, means letting go of the anger or resentment held against someone for a perceived wrong. It’s about releasing the negative feelings and thoughts associated with past conflicts, which can be liberating and lead to personal peace. However, forgiving someone does not necessarily mean forgetting what happened or removing all consequences of their actions. When I say 'on sight' in the context of forgiveness, what I mean is that while I forgive you for past disagreements or hurtful actions, it does not automatically restore our relationship to its previous state. I have chosen to forgive to move past the emotional burden, but for my well being, I also need to set boundaries. This means limiting or controlling our interactions and not allowing certain past behaviors to disrupt my personal space. These boundaries are not about holding a grudge but about protecting my mental and emotional health. They are a way to respect my needs while acknowledging that I have moved past the anger. It's about creating a healthy environment for myself where I can interact comfortably, without the risk of recurring issues that might arise from unrestricted access to my personal spaces. In practical terms, this includes interactions on platforms like my KZbin channel. If you cross these boundaries, particularly by posting comments that disrupt this space, I will remove those comments to maintain a healthy environment. This action is not out of malice, but a necessary step to ensure that my digital spaces remain places where I can engage positively and constructively.
