I am afraid I have to say this and Mandela was not the man he was betrayed and was part of the Marxist/communist ANC that has destroyed are destroying SA. A interesting and honest comment by an African Intellectual to sum up the reasons for Africa's lack of progress was (1) Corruption (20 marxism. Marxism is one of the most evil and fatal ideologies in human history . It is closely related to national socialism and is demonic in nature. Anyone that is attached to it will regret it. As Jesus said "By there deeds shall ye know them. i am afraid to say that the deeds of Mandela and the ANC and the results are not good and very destructive

@@calvin3989 that is what I'm saying, you betting the wrong horse because of the media, Ramaphosa is more corrupt than Zuma, remember he is a billionaire and surely you can't tell what he did to get those billions, never established a company or anything, so please do a thorough research about our leaders and the media and you will see who exactly is corrupt. De Klerk just realized he was losing nothing special about him really
@redmatters93183 жыл бұрын
@@buhlemcetywa3715 True, there nothing really special about him except that he had the sense to realize that his white supremacists could not prevail and that a bloody civil war , with great loss of LIFE , was futile. That was his " genius " , so to speak -common sense. Further north in old Rhodesia when the white supremacists led by Ian Smith and his cutthroats declared UDI , no so such commonsense prevailed and nearly 22, 000 people unnecessarily died. Had de klerk choosen that route more would have died in South Africa. One can only speculate, but I doubt whether the ANC could have won the day considering the effectiveness of the apartheid ground forces. The Spear of the Nation was not well armed . World support could not be relied upon for too long . They had already turned against the APARTHEID regime and their support could not have been relied upon in a prolonged battle. In any event we'll never know the answer to those questions but clearrly we owe some acknowledgement , if not some gratitude, to de Klerk and his team for a peaceful transition of POWER. I seem to remember MATIBA himself echoing such sentiments. G'day from Australia mate.
