And THE most annoying thing in clip studio, i always struggled with is divergence of cels and layers, and assigning every frame separately. SO, to fix this, go to File > Preferences > Animation > tick "Add cel to frame when adding layer" and "Remove cel when deleting/moving layer"

Whenever I search about how to make drawings a little more lively, they seem to go towards the 'background' a lot, but I'm someone who just... Isn't that confident on my backgrounds So this tutorial really helped me! I didn't knew how to use grades that well, but your explanation just made it somehow click in my head!

If you're going to study some light stuff, let me say something that is just SO SUPER COOL!! Certain lights bounce off of certain colors better. As in like, the way they absorb is better. For instance, stuff in the yellow orange red spectrum under blue light becomes super red. Super!! My orange lizard looks hot orange under blue light. I highly recommend testing this with LED strips in a room. I don't know if red light makes blue super visible, but it can always be googled/tested. Anyways! It's just super cool, and I think maybe some really interesting art pieces can be made applying this rule

wait ur making me lowkey so excited for the research portion of this... i have a bunch of reference vids saved (like taking diff colored objects under water diving to show how they appear differently as the light depth changes) but theres just so much to learn about it!!! thats exciting

This tutorial formula of “here’s the rule. Here’s what it means. Here’s how to apply it. Here’s the difference made, and why it works better visually” is absolute HEAVEN!! So glad to have found you have a KZbin and would love to see more teaching-style videos like this in future!
