It won't work if the blades are bent. You have to re-set the blades by bending - a skilled job. Also - use linseed oil, then it won't hurt your plants.

This video simplifies the process too much. When you buy a new gasket, it commonly does not come laid out flat but rolled or folded in some fashion. With this, you will need, at some level, to reshape it so that it seals properly. You can reshape the gasket using various methods (e.g. heating with a hair dryer, soaking sections in hot water, etc.). I suggest you view other KZbin videos that provide more comprehensive information on this subject..

First of all, thank you. I followed your directions and it worked. The only issue I had was with getting the bumper warm enough. The first time it didn’t work so I adjusted the location of the hairdryer and did it again and I got most of the dent out. I warmed a little more and finished it. Thanks for the video.

Will this work on Hornets?

I bought a brand new GE/Hotpoint replacement lower door seal (WR24X10229) for my GE model GTH17DBC2RWW fridge which looks like it may be the same as in the video. The old damaged seal came off as indicated in the video however putting on the new seal was a fight to the death requiring all the strength my 70 year old arthritic hands could apply. This was not like the ease of installation as shown in the video. If I had to try this again I think I would apply a little silicone grease to the seal where it mates with the tracks on the door which hold the seal once it presses in fully. Any thoughts?

THANK YOU!! Bought a new toilet seat. There was no instructions as to slide the screw in first. I could not get the small plastic tabs to go down. I thought it was a defect. Once I saw your video, everything was so clear. Just side the big screws in from the back first then put on toilet and screw in!!!!
