Yea but here’s the thing, carrots don’t naturally generate in a Minecraft world so you have to find a village to get them, wheat can be harvested by just punching the ground. Plus, wheat can be crafted into more things such as bread and cake (the latter of the two being arguably easier to craft) and cows give you milk, which clears all potion effects. Although you could say golden carrots are a great close to endgame food source and I’d be inclined to agree, bread is simply better and more useful for every other point in the game.

Honestly that is true but Bread's saturation is much lower than golden carrots and cooked food. Bread is a good early game food but once you hit mid game you should at least be eating cooked food. Also, cake isn't a very good food source since you have to place it doesnt to actually eat it.

Erm actually 🤓 it takes the same amount of time to breed so with carrots you just have an aboundance of them with no good use. And with cows you get leather aswell

this is true but I still use carrot farms because Farmer villager trades, it could be 20 wheat or 22 carrots and since you get more carrots it also means more emeralds as well.

you would get the same amount of pigs and cows of the delay between breeding you just have more carrots your gonna have more wheat by the 5 minute mark and steak gives more saturation
