Someone offered me this ball now. In a very reasonable price, but I don't know what ball get. Which ball will you get honestly? between this balls. Absolute Paragon DV8 violent collision? Which one you think that works better. Someone tolds me the DV8. And other tolds me the paragon. What do you think?

How does the Effect compare to the Hazmat? I'm assuming the Hazmat is a little longer and more continuous, but the Effect looks pretty darn continuous and big backend.

Hey JR Raymond, was just curious, in a six ball arsenal, would it be okay to have a Buffalo and Pitch Black in there? Or would you replace one of them? OR Zen U over the Buffalo?

First of all, shout out to you in the production of all your shows. Great content. Great analogy of bowling equipment. I just bought the ball. Just had it drilled. I love the bowling ball. It's great. I normally don't like going down and in I had a drill just like you said my My driller drilled it strong just like you said. It keeps in front of me. I can play the three board first arrow, second arrow and I can go deep with it. It goes. It reads a little early and then it just smooths out on the back end but that's a snap but it's continuous just like you said. Thanks again. Take it easy man. Keep up the great work.

That's a Legends ball by Lane Masters. Made in USA, and have been around since the 90s. They make Lane Masters and Legends balls in the USA. Lane Masters was bought out by Lord Field around 2012. Lord Field later added the Swag brand. That is NOT a Swag ball.

I bought this ball in January. Before the Absolute, my league average was 146. For the 2nd half of the season, it was 171. I know it's a hybrid, but the finish is nearly a pearl. When I miss right, this ball recovers. When I miss left, it slides into the pocket. Incredible. Now, can somebody explain why it was discontinued?

I recently started bowling again after 25-ish years. The ball I used to love was the Faball Hammer urethane (late 80s and early 90s), I think. So much has changed over the years... I'm a older slower bowler so my speed is around 12.5-13.5 mph and my style is not high rev. I used to bowl in the area you did around the 12:20 mark in this video. Right now I am using the virtual energy blackout which is fine for me when the oil is fresh. But, I have a hard time with it as the lanes dry up. I am considering the lightning blackout as it seems like it may be an easier ball to control for myself. I'm 6ft 265 if that matters. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey JR! Try changing your thumb pitch to 1/4 back and an 1/8 towards the palm. That will solve your issue ..

I just return to bowling, 15-20 years later. The 4 or 5 steps approach will be my focus the next time I go to practice. Meanwhile, I will work on this process at home to get and idea which one feels more natural for me. Working on the mechanics of my approach, and this video helps with my timing. If at first you don't succeed: Try..try..try..try again and again = bowling#$#@!

This was the first time I’ve seen one of JR’s reviews and it was actually entertaining and refreshing compared to the countless other dry reviews I’ve watched for the Black Widow 3.0. The critical comments below have confirmed that our society is soft and just one huge snowflake. These are the people that have received blue ribbons and trophy’s at every bowling tournament they’ve ever played in since a kid. These are the people that leave the same critical comments for the Pickleball paddle reviews. #soft

I have long maintained just what you are saying. The Tanks, especially the Blue and this one, are the most educational balls on the market, because they respond in a linear fashion to whatever change you make, whether it's surface, speed, hand position, etc.
@jimk9290
@jimk9290 28 күн бұрын
I got one of these, and I put the surface at 3000, so it gets a bit more down lane, like what JR says the Polaris Hybrid does, and the ball lane shines about as fast as the lane transitions, so that sometimes I bowl from almost the same spot all night long. I resurface lightly by hand to 3000 after every session, so I get the same reaction through the first 3 games, which is when I use this ball. I actually do that with both of my balls that I throw first out of the bag; the other one is the Track Proof. That way, if the pins seem to respond better to asym, I throw the Proof, and otherwise I throw the Stealth. At this surface, the balls are within 2 boards of each other, so I can confidently change balls before I go to an official "breakdown" ball like the Track Sensor.
