My friend bought me guild wars and the campaigns this last summer. We have since just completed the Prophecies main campaign today. The music, the setting, the lore, all of it drips with passion. I would say Guild Wars is a truly unique experience in multiplayer gaming and one of the best I've ever played.

Crystal Oasis is such a crazy soundtrack, holy shit...

interesting that there's no Kaineng Centre theme music, the one I was looking forward to. it's a very soothing track. I still play GW occasionally, although none of my friends list is ever on there anymore. I come back for the special events and to relive the nostalgia.

I miss this game so much and the brilliant works of Soule. It's the most beautifully crafted music I've ever heard - and I'm a pianist who loves the likes of Chopin and Mozart. Hands down my favourite artist.

I just ended the full story and heard this song, makes me wish I took more time to understand the story, characters and the whole plot overall.

It’s been, what? Nearly 15 years or so that I first touched Guild Wars? I still come back to this soundtrack now and then, and I still feel a great deal whenever I hear Eye of the Storm. It almost hurts to think back so far and remember people I haven’t spoken to in so long.

The fact that when Im listening dragonborne piano i unintentionally can sing this melody along with it and it fits really speaks for Jeremy.

I missed so many work deadlines because of this expansion. I still have all the get-well cards that my colleagues sent me. 😇

My father lent me his internet connection for a few hours, a few magical hours where I went to Jade's quarry with my assassin to play 1v1... far from understanding that it was a team game XD 😅Then as a teenager, I finally understood that GW was a team game ! 😇Hm, Doa, UW, Koss, Kanaxai, Urgoz, Norns ! What unforgettable memories. And friendships that are still strong today. It wasn't just a game, it was a magical time. Today I feel really lucky to have experienced this adventure which goes further than the virtual ! 😇 R12 Zaishen forever in my Heart 😇

Jeremy Soule is the best composer ever.

I have fond memories with my friend playing GW. I remember us playing, thinking out loud, yeah, there seems like a lot to do but the map feels small. Oh well, it's still fun. OMG the map opens up and it's HUGE! This was also the last physical game I had with a large manual that I was excited to read from beginning to end. Still have the case on display along will F, NF, EotN, and GW2. Man, if I could relive those games.

Never did I think that when I saw the box that said "Free online play" that it would become something that was so meaningful to me. I had never lost myself in a game before, despite having gamed for many years prior to playing this back in 05. Sometimes I wonder if I miss the game or the way I felt playing the game. Though I do still log in every so often and walk around the Shiverpeaks

I started this game in 2005 at age 15. My mother loved it so I tried it too. Never played as much as her but I too enjoyed it very much. We then also played the second part together. She died last year and 3 members of her Guild came to the funeral. Hearing this music still gives me chills…great memories of time spent together.

A few years ago, one summer, I started from scratch and replayed Prophecies through Eye of the North. Best solo gaming experience I have had to date.
